Questions & Answers

Do you know if it collapses?

Unlike most reflex hammers, this one cannot be collapsed.

Hi, I just received this hammer today. I ordered it recently. There must be a way to get rid of the red tip. Are there any tips or tricks anyone can share?

I just pulled off the red tip. In order to protect the sharper tip of the Hammer, it has a cap. Is it possible to manually pull it off because the suction is so great? If the red plastic tip on the end of the hammer is stiff, it may help to soak it in very hot water to loosen it up? We've never had a situation like this before. I hope you are able to find something that works!

Does this product have the ability to be personalized?

You might be able to engrave something on the long handle if you have an engraver at home and a steady hand.

Would you mind showing me your smaller one?

Is that a smaller version of the Queen's Hammer you are asking for? A smaller one has never been seen before. Using a pendulum effect along with gravity, the hammer circle end elicits reflex responses. You will feel a gentle jolt on the body reflex you are testing when the handle gently swings. Could the maneuver be completed with a smaller handle? You will find it aggravating to carry in your lab coat pocket due to its long handle.

Having a giant of a hammer is the best option if you must do surgery on them
3/5

Ridiculous is the word to describe this hammer. I cannot fit this in my pocket. It is about 18 inches in length. The length of the bar is 20 inches! My class became the laughing stock of the school when I took it out of the bag. Although it is powerful enough to do its job, I believe it could also be used to bludgeon an opponent Do you have any idea who at MDF thought that this would be an appropriate If you are looking for a hammer that is easy to carry around in your pocket, don't purchase this.

Here is what you need to know - Accurate results can only be achieved with the right tool
5/5

If you intend to bring this in a small bag, you cannot use it. It is strong but light so that it is able to elicit reflexes every time. The reaction hammer you will favor if you intend to store it in a drawer or on a table is this one. The hammer you need to use in dealing with a neurologist when you are a student is THIS It shows you have a good grasp of the tools of the trade, compared to those who have no knowledge. During rounds, this hammer is frequently seen tucked into the button hole of a white coat in a clinic setting. Because this one is made well, you won't see the handle detaching from the top.

The V-long Hammer is light and easy to swing despite its length
4/5

Due to its length, this hammer is far more difficult to carry than a typical reflex hammer, so you can't keep it in your It's kind of like a wand you carry around. The hammer itself is actually quite useful, as you can use its overall length to generate momentum rather than striking with a lot of force as you would with a regular For testing sensation, a rubber cover is present on the tip of the tool. Haha. I always keep the rubber case on because it's very pointy and it would hurt if I didn't. The hammer is of good quality, light weight, and well priced. I am only not a fan of its size because it makes storage difficult.

Reflex stick of great size
5/5

Because the box has a magnet, it serves as a nice case for the device. This instrument is also easy to use, and we always got a patient commenting how large it is. However, it seems to work well for reflex testing. This design has a good lever arm and a good design. The product is very gentle to use overall. Even though it's a little big and has a tendency to protrude from your coat pocket, if you have it, wear it proudly.

Hammers are only true when they are the only ones
5/5

If you are a neurology resident on rotation, this is the hammer you should be using. Toy triangles do not allow for proper reflexes and are just toys. Hammers like these have a good performance and are used by most A lot of them were bought for a neurology club prize, and the students loved.

The pain reliever I got for my husband is excellent for the price
5/5

He is a neurologist and he said that there are no complaints and the device does its job effectively. This reflex hammer is no better than the ones you get for free in medical school, but not less effective than the others. It is an excellent value for the functionality it offers.

An incredibly well-made suit with a great As I am used to the Babinski hammer and did not realize this handle was as long as the handle of the babinski hammer, I am in love with the hammer
4/5

There's no doubt it's 12 inches long. As aside from quality construction, the plastic handle appears to be capable of taking the abuse clinicians will put it through.

The situation is just fine
3/5

I am fine with it. The hammer is not a bad one Using this tool to get reflexes and plantar responses is a great tool since it has a pointed tip. There's just something about the quality of the film that disappoints me. As a result, the rubber head of this hammer isn't very bouncy like the heads of some other similar hammers I have used, and the shaft of the one i received was slightly warped to one side when it was - If you like this style of hammer, this one will suffice It's a great place to go, but don't expect to be overwhelmed by it.
