I just pulled off the red tip. In order to protect the sharper tip of the Hammer, it has a cap. Is it possible to manually pull it off because the suction is so great? If the red plastic tip on the end of the hammer is stiff, it may help to soak it in very hot water to loosen it up? We've never had a situation like this before.
