A long-range plan is an essential aspect of the process Timing belts with nylon fabric facing on the teeth have a long life, and the pictures show timing belts with such facings of nylon fabric. Not only did the timer belt I received lack any fiberglass, but it was painted a different color as well. Based on the grade of material used, the colors will likely differ. Though you may not notice a difference in print quality, if you are opting to buy in bulk for industrial use, it would be wise to.
The belts from the factory have all been molded from rubber, so mine has some fiber glass and is not as springy (or much less springy) as those from the factory. The upgrade was well worth it. It is likely that I will be able to print a second delta printer with what I received.
The reason this belt is so cheap is because it measures 6 inches. The wheel is just wide enough to grind on the pulleys with 12 mm. A typical example of what you get for your money is a quality product.
It caused my 3D printer to vibrate and make more noise than it normally does. One brand shows pictures of the reddish color it has in its fiberglass reinforcement, which was same as what I had.
It is a quality product that has not given me any problems in the 3 months I have had it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The meter package is more than sufficient, but it allows for human error during the build process.
By using these belts, you will be able to eliminate this problem. Since upgrading my printer, I have noticed a marked improvement in my prints. Please do not tighten too much. When your printer has less flex, it can over tighten and put unnecessary strain on it.
Despite the belts' fit, you'll need to be careful as they stretch awfully after a few hours. And repeatley, I find myself tightening one belt on all four sides.
