The material is far too hard; however, making a belt with it is not a problem

br>br>Unfortunately, because the material has almost no stretch or elasticity. It is ineffective for creating your own drive belts. They have a nice appearance, but the material needs to be a little more supple.

On a wood sculpture, it's being used for belts

This is fantastic. Custom belts for pulleys on a sculpture I made were simple to cut and join, and they were very dependable. It took three or four tries to get the length just right, but the material held up well.
