This socket appears to be of reasonable quality. Adds another name to the jumble of sockets I've had to purchase to fill in the gaps left by Pittsburgh. This is a replacement for the Tekton of the same size that I had to return due to the fact that it was not stamped. The Tekton for the 114" was shown stamped in the pictures on Amazon. It also fits nicely in the magnetic tray holder by Olsen. It's the red socket tray on the far right in the photo. I've never had a problem fitting a socket into those socket holes. ABN made that society tray, according to my research. If you're going to buy socket trays, go for the cheapest ones you can find because they're all the same, with the same mold and infection marks on them. That said, I wish someone would create a socket set called the Pittsburgh patch and sell it as a collection of all the skips available in Pittsburgh. After putting the Pittsburgh sockets in the magnetic trays and seeing how many I was missing, I embarked on a costly quest to ensure that I have all of the sockets, even if I will only use them occasionally. That, I believe, is the most costly aspect of purchasing socket trays.
Bulky and appears to be of good quality. Overall, I would not give it a five-star rating. I would have given 5 stars if it had been made in Japan or Germany because Japanese/German quality is superior to Chinese quality. br>br>Four stars because they're made in China, and I'm not sure how long they'll last or how well they'll hold up under heavy use. I'll change my rating if they don't prove to be durable.
I needed a really deep socket for a specific job, but the length of the product included a piece of plastic inserted into the end of the socket, which disappointed me. The length was listed as over 5 inches in the description, but that did not include the plastic piece.
I have a number of socket sets, but I misplaced my 7/16 socket a few years ago. I've been looking for a replacement but haven't been able to find one until I looked on Amazon. Thanks to you, I now have the entire set, which is actually better quality than the one I lost.
This socket is ideal for a workhorse. It's a perfect fit for my Makita impact wrench. I liked it a lot more than some of the other ones I tried.
It's great for getting rid of bolts. . . . I had to hammer the bolt out with my breaker bar, so it was tough.
I haven't tried sockets with an air impact drive yet, but if my opinion changes after using them with air tools, I will update this post.
This is a great storage solution.
