This compact and easy-to-install gas valve is well suited for open and tight spaces due to its quiet operation, smaller size and ease of installation
The United States is the country of origin

Questions & Answers

Vr8205s2395 will be replaced by this?

In short, yes. It seems that it will, based on what I read online. Every year, they can create a number of models.

Comes with the parts needed to convert it to propane?

There is nothing else included with it.

A vr8215s1248 valve is my original valve. Do you still think this will ?

I was wondering if you ordered this part and if it worked to replace your VR8215S1248? You and I are in the same boat.

The brand new Honeywell Gas Control Valve 102837-directly replaces the original The Honeywell Gas Control Valve 102837 needs a direct replacement My Lennox furnace was pretty tricky when I tried to install part 01 of the furnace
5/5

There is no stock of that exact part number in our warehouse where the unit is over 7 years old. As a result of my research, I came across the VR8215S1503, which is the newer and updated version. In a box that was small enough to prevent it from banging around too much, it was reasonably packaged with some padding. In the end, a padded envelope was placed inside the box. When you have worked with solenoids before (the thing inside this valve that opens and closes the gas line to the heater manifold) you have learned that they are often fragile. So, I was worried that my solenoids would not work. I would have been very disappointed if that had happened, as it took a couple of days to receive this and the temperatures were getting pretty cold during this time. I am grateful that it arrived fully prepared for deployment. There was also a propane conversion kit packaged with it, if that's something you are interested in. did not need any conversion kit since my furnace is powered by natural gas and I did not need to modify it. My application seems to be properly set from the factory, at least in terms of the flow. In case you're completing this work yourself, and do not have a set of pipe wrenches, you might want to get one. It will save you a lot of heartache, banged-up knuckles, and bruised ego to simply invest in a couple 18" pipe wrenches. It is important to remember that if you try to use channelocks, you will likely encounter plenty of difficulty with the manifold connected to the outlet on this gas control valve. Lastly, DIYers should keep in mind you need good pipe dope. Also known as pipe thread compound, this is the material you put on threads to prevent gas leaks and seal the connection. To reattach the tip, you should remove as much of the old dope as possible (I used a Razerblade) and then coat all but the last two threads on the tip before you tighten them back up. The formula I used for Rectorseal yellow soft was Rectorseal yellow soft. This was on sale at my local hardware store for $5, but you can probably get some on this site, too. For not blowing out the house and getting the heat back on for my wife, I am now her hero for saving her hundreds of dollars on having an HVAC pro out to look at it. In order to fire up the furnace, you should wait about ten minutes after turning back on the gas when you turn it back on. Take 15 minutes to complete. There is a leak somewhere if you can smell gas. For the sake of safety, restart the furnace after it's been fired up, but make sure you check it over There will be a strong smell of gas if there is a leak. If you cannot get the engine to start, turn off the gas and tighten your connections. You may wish to hire a pro if you didn't understand anything I've said here. Hope you have a successful day!.
