What kind of propane or acetylene gas can you use on oxygen?

Gases such as propane and natural gas are used in our shop along with oxygen. On all of our hoses (T grade hose with B fittings), we use these. It doesn't seem obvious that they shouldn't work on acetylene as well. I hope this was helpful
