I think I bought this as a correct replacement for mine, but it is not the same gas line that comes into it, nor does it come with the same orifice for my burner, which you have to research to determine. I returned it since the replacement was such a hassle. In my case, I simply replaced my burner, which was very I had the same problem with my heater shutting off with a fault code, so I realized I could keep it lit if I pushed straight in on my gas valve. After that, I put two zip ties around the valve, one horizontally and one vertically. The heater works great now, and I was able to save money by not needing to buy a new one! Here is what I hope will help.

It looks like an exact replacement. Br>I don't have to use it yet. Br>I bought it just in case other parts didn't solve the problem. Br>Having this part is still cheaper than having to replace the hot water heater any time soon.
