A great product that does exactly what it says. As of now, there have been no issues. In case you forget to turn off the iron when you get tied up, using the sleep mode is the perfect solution. It is a great product but the only objection I have - and this is the same issue with most soldering stations - is that when you use the solder spool, you can't change its location. It's not a big deal since this station does not have left-handed versions, so I can see why it's designed this way.

I have done quite a bit of soldering in my past, generally with older Weller constant control irons for hours at a time. The tips would usually last much longer without getting contaminated than modern iron tips. While I realize it is only 1/4 $, I am satisfied with the occasional use I have for it. It is a good idea to warm up the room and control the temperature.
