Hello, I'm looking for 220v soldering with a Europe plug. ?

Thank you for getting in touch with me. Because this item is sold in the United States, it comes with a standard American plug. If you require an EU plug, we have also launched this item on Amazon in European countries that require an EU plug, such as DE, IT, ES, and FR. I just checked and it appears that re-installation will take some time. In Europe, replenish inventory. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is it suitable for the creation of jewelry?

Only for electronic work have I used this iron. It heats up quickly, and the tips I've used so far are fine enough to be precise; the temperature control takes some getting used to (use the 2 second rule with your solder), but I haven't had to crank it up to maximum yet, so it should be fine for jewelry work.

This unit has been in my possession since before the holidays. It's a fantastic unit with a nice handle and a solid feel to it. The majority of the weight is provided by a good transformer, but the PCB board quality could be improved. I think the tips that come with it are adequate for the job, but if you want to see a significant improvement, invest in some genuine Hakko T18 tips (900M). They are far superior, and the unit does come slightly out of adjustment (at least mine did). You can calibrate your multimeter yourself if it has a temperature probe. Simply look beneath the control knob for a small hole into which you can insert a 1 Phillips screwdriver. Counterclockwise lowers the temperature and clockwise raises it, just as you'd expect. WARNING: This adjustment should only be attempted by someone who is at least comfortable with electronics circuits, as a fraction of a mm of adjustment can cause the unit to jump 30 degrees Celsius.

The unit is simple to assemble and heats up quickly, but parts may be difficult to come by, and there is no customer support
3/5

The external appearance is of high quality. It may be difficult to find replacement tips. br> Additional tips are required if you use multiple solder alloys and don't want to cross-contaminate them. As a result, I would not recommend it for use in a business or professional setting. br>Do-it-yourself at home is fine until you need to replace parts. Their support email is the only way to get in touch with them. Their website doesn't appear to have any parts listed. My email was bounced back because their support email does not work. I attempted to contact her via Facebook, but received no response. I should've realized what I was getting myself into. I'm attempting to get in touch with them via Amazon. Tilswall is not a company with whom I would do business again.

Great little soldering station, go ahead and order one now! So far, so good with this new Soldering Station; I've only used it a couple of times and it works perfectly; I'm confident that this machine will last a long time, fingers crossed; however, it smells and feels solid; it's like day one

vs. my old 40+ year old pencil stick one, which takes around 5 minutes to heat up and is nowhere near as hot as this new one. In under a minute, this machine will be ready to rock. I also purchased some additional Hakko T-shirts. I chose 18 tips because I've heard good things about them and they seem to fit in nicely. The tips that came with it, on the other hand, appear to be fine and have proven to be effective. Following my purchase, I considered getting a soldering station with a digital readout or one with the fancy new style tips, which I believe are called T-style tips. 12’s? However, with that type of review, the results were hit or miss, and the price was higher as well. As a result, I'm completely satisfied with this one and its simplicity. It's so easy to use that I'm looking for more soldering projects to do with it. br>br>Though Tilswall is a name I've never heard of, I've found that almost every item with their name on it is rated at least five stars. In today's disposable world, it would be nice if companies could make quality products with quality components that last even if we have to pay more, like my Sears swamp cooler that has been on my roof for over 45 years, or some avocado green water heaters I see on occasion from the 1970s that are still working fine. You won't find a water heater or a swamp cooler that will last anywhere near that amount of time these days, most companies make th.

I think it's fantastic, and no, I'm not being paid to say so
5/5

I didn't notice any sort of sleep mode on this, and if it does, I'm not sure why or how it would work, but it would be cool. br>br>I really like this thing; it's small, light, and has enough cable to reach across my small desk. The only complaint I have is that the power button is on the side rather than the front, but other than that, this thing exudes quality feel, from the silicone where your hands rest to the weightiness of the power box, it just feels nice and does an excellent job, but do yourself a favor and throw away the solder it comes with and get some lead based solder, it's the best thing you can do.

Heats up quickly - The temperature range is fantastic
4/5

This soldering station has left me very impressed. After using top-of-the-line products for the past 20 years, I was looking for an all-in-one solution after a string of failed products at home. around a number of a general-purpose iron that could be used for everything from delicate circuit board repair to tinning 10-foot poles This unit performs admirably on every level. I do have a couple of pet peeves. The iron stand, for starters, is unable to connect to the base. In mobile applications, there should be a "slide-on/slide-off" fixture that keeps the unit together for stability. The lack of tip storage was also a disappointment to me. Finally, the instructions are simple, which is fine, but there is a QR code on the first instruction page that should take you to the full manual. This is not the case. Instead, it redirects to a Chinese-only page that leads to the company's website, where the manual is not available. This, in my experience, is typical of Chinese-speaking people. As a result, my four-star rating for a really good iron at a reasonable price is unaffected by the fact that it is made in China.

For LEDS, this is the ideal first soldering station
5/5

For as long as I can remember, I've used a soldering pen. I do a lot of things with LEDs, and this year I started soldering my own controller boards for nodemcus. I felt like I needed something more than a pen, and my pen stand was falling apart, so I bought a station. I'd never used one before, but I was told to buy one. I found this one for a great price and it had good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. Anyway, I've started using this on a regular basis. Each board takes a long time for me to construct, but it is well worth the effort. Anyway, this device is far superior to my pen. It heats up in a fraction of a second. It took at least a minute for my pen to reach the end of its journey. I expected it to have a loud fan or something because of the brick that came with it, but it's actually quite quiet, though you can hear the led blinking. I'm hoping this lasts a long time; my friend tried to persuade me to buy one for $300, but this one is just as good, despite the fact that it isn't digital. For me, it works perfectly. I've had my cheap pen for ten years, and if this one lasts as long, I'm confident that the money saved was well spent.
