If you're working with high-density pins, this is probably not the best option. It's more than likely that you're looking for SAT-related information. 034- CONTACT- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- REMOVAL- TOOL- 1 is designed for pins with a lot of density.
I'm not sure how big it is in terms of measurements. However, I can tell you that it's made to fit standard DB9 serial cables' pins.

02, which fits over 22 and 20 AWG wire and releases the pins/sockets with ease. Make it a point to look for it on your own. It is more expensive, but it is well worth it! br>br>Even after reading the other negative reviews, I figured I should know better. I figured I'd be lucky or smart because many (most?) users don't know how to use this tool properly, so I figured I'd be lucky or smart, but I was wrong. The extraction/white end is the one you'll want to use. They come out of the package distorted and poorly formed, as others have stated. They aren't big enough to go over a mil-spec helmet. spec wire or pin without flaring that makes getting into the back of the connector shell difficult. If you fiddle around with it long enough, it will catch internally and refuse to release the pin/socket. The insulation is gouged when trying to get it over a 20 AWG wire. Don't waste your time. br>br>Please note that Amazon occasionally displays the pictures out of order, and one of the "good" tools has been replaced with a duplicate. This janky tool is the one that stands out.
I was unable to make this work in any way. I gave up on removing the pins from the d- connector with a sub-pin The prongs are flimsy and brittle.
Although these items were good value for money, they did not work right out of the box. I couldn't use them to pull pins. Then I took a closer look at the tool and saw that the extractor tube was twisted. I used a pin nail to straighten the tube before attempting to use the tool, which worked perfectly. It's possible that they were crushed in transit. Who knows what will happen. But now that it's straightened out, it's fine.
I got these tools, and with just one of them, I was able to complete the task at hand. I got three because I previously purchased one from another vendor and it was broken in shipping, which I was unaware of until a few months later when I discovered it was no longer functional. Because these are prone to breaking, having multiples is a good idea.
Because the metal is so thin, it expanded the tube instead of contracting the pin, allowing me to push the pin back through the fitting. This isn't something you should buy. Pay the money to get something that will work so you don't have to do what I did and waste money twice.
Just take it easy, it'll bend if it's not used.
The tool works fine for insertion, but it's a different story when it comes to extraction. The tool ends of all three tools I received are deformed in the same way, as if they were pinched (or simply made poorly). It's impossible to get it over the wire as-is, so I tried to make it work by tweaking the end, but only made it worse. br>br>To cut a long story short, I wish I'd just spent the money on the real mil-spec gear. tool for speculating.
They were thrown away. These are terrible. Mil-spec is a few dollars more. If you want tools that actually work, look for spec certified tools. B& For a few dollars each, C specialty has some good precision tools.
