The two stands were purchased at the same time, in hopes that at least one of them would be a good fit for me. While I found this Weller model adequate for my use (chain instead of solder), the guide hole on this model sounds quite loud as the chain slides through (the hakko model is much quieter). Additionally, the Weller housing is very lightweight, so it is not quite as stable as the Hakko housing. The only positive aspect is that it is already assembled (you have to put together the Hakko Nevertheless, I think the Hakko 611-II is a better buy if you only want to spend a couple of extra dollars It is a better buy to buy 1.
