Product Description

A soldering iron, a mini torch, and a heat blower in one. This soldering iron gun is ideally suited for many applications including automotive, fine jewelry, crafting, and repairing electronic pcbs and computer motherboards, among many others.
The battery can be recharged in 20 seconds with a butane cylinder. With a single charge, the device can be used up to 90 minutes. Depending on the power output, the heater can heat up to 125 watts. Gas power makes it very economical to run, so it will not consume electricity
It is easy to start and fast to heat up thanks to the self-ignite feature. Then you can turn on the gas valve and press the button to ignite the device. Once the unit turns on, the orange flame will be seen glistening in the heat chamber.
With the adjustable flame control, you can adjust the heat output and temperature with ease. Use the slider to adjust the output of butane gas.
Is portable and lightweight, with a weight of about 4 ounces. The compact size makes it easy to fit in a pocket, backpack or toolbox. [Note Butane is not included in the calculations]
There are three items included in the package a soldering iron, a ceramic heat chamber, and a torch chamber. The tip of a 6mm conical needle

Questions & Answers

How well does the flameless heat gun function with integrated solder work with electrical heat shrink? The extension cord I use to charge my car doesn't always work. ?

The supplied tips can be removed, and you can get a decent flow of flame for heat shrink tubing by removing the pointed soldering tip. My favorite part of this torch is the flame!

If I want to use the catalyst chamber as a torch, how can I remove it?

You can find a video of the demonstration attached. You should note There are differences between the model shown in the video and the one shown here, but ultimately I would be glad to answer any further questions you may have. Please select a max size

Copper pipes can be soldered with the flame. ?

However, it will not sweat pipe. You should use it only for minor brazing and soldering wire. To use an even hotter tool, you would need to upgrade. Propain or map gas would be an example.

Where does the lowest setting on the heat blower find the lowest temperature?

Temperature is set to 450C at the lowest setting.

However, it is only 5 stars
5/5

That's what I love about This hot air gun puts out a lot of power and will melt solder on twisted 4 wires in no time It was very easy to solder a wire onto a fairly large lug. Heats up quickly. Does not need an extension cord. Cools quickly when done. What's the big deal about the "but"? Don't let this thing get away from you. No matter how low the setting is, it blasts lots of super hot gas out. The danger of burning yourself is high if you become distracted by uncooperative wires, lugs, and what not, or if you are working in an unusual position. My opinion is that it is an awesome device, but beware, it will melt nearby wires. It will also preshrink heat while it runs. Using a heating pad within 2 inches can shrink tubing and scorch your skin in a blink of an eye. Don't let your guard down! However, it is still one of my favorites.

I find this to be a good read Constructed with multiple functions Don't forget to use the It has solid construction, appealing materials, and a sturdy finish that is pleasing to the eye
5/5

The iron serves as a soldering iron, heat gun, and will ignite a jet flame whenever it is touched. Upon firing up the iron, it immediately heats up. Getting it hot doesn't have to take as long as it once did. A wide range of temperatures are available, which allows for infinite adjustment. It takes a little while to get the engines started (drag the gas switch to lock to the right, then pull down the igniter slide switch). When the fuel switch in the fuel tank is moved to the igniter switch, butane escapes in the process. Because of the right side detent, it sometimes is tricky to turn off because it snaps shut to the left after you release the right side detent. It took me a while to figure out what heat gun mode is, since I could not figure out that the conical tip unscrews from the tip of the heat gun. It turns into a heat gun when the small conical tip is removed. It becomes a jet flame when the shroud at the base of the tip is removed and then replaced with the vented shroud. Here we are at the end of the line- Its black vented cover snaps on securely and offers excellent protection for the tool. There could be a shorter cap, which would make it easier to fit in more pouches and tool containers. This is definitely something I would recommend and am quite happy with.

I love how this works
5/5

For my 1988 GMC K3500, I needed to replace the headlight sockets. Although the driver side is easy to access, I could not remove the battery and support from the passenger side as I needed to use an electric soldering iron (Weller Gun Style). To finish splicing in the new socket, I was considering alternative methods, but I dislike anything less than soldering and They were able to fit into there without any trouble. Due to the price of the soldering iron, I was sceptical of purchasing it, but I am glad I got it. The device heats up in about a minute and is super compact. I'm considering ordering a second one, would be great to have in my service truck, I don't have to plug anything into it.

Soldering isn't a great use for this type
4/5

As I already own a soldering station, I purchased it as a heat gun / torch. I decided to take it out of the cupboard and try it out. This was a really big There is a problem with this thing it generates a great deal of heat, but it also blows around the tip. If too close to vents (about 3 inches), this water burns fingers and other stuff. My heating level was set to the lowest. When you use an electric iron, you don't have to worry about this issue, so you just have to be careful not to touch the Even still, it gets very hot quite fast, so that's a bonus. The torch/heat gun seems to do the job well as a torch / heat gun. The answer is not clear The first tool of this type I have used, so I have nothing to compare it to. The refillable cigarette lighter looks similar, but with a different shape to it. For the price, it's good enough for me.

The ignition system is great and lights up the first time, every time
5/5

When soldering on silver, the soldering iron gets exceedingly hot and is useful for intricate jewelry soldering, while the torch gets just hot enough to tinker with light gold. There is an easy conversion from the soldering iron to the hot blower to the mini torch thanks to the design. After use, the tool cools off very quickly, which is excellent so that you don't have to worry about a hot tool lying around.

There is a lot to like about it
5/5

The nose piece of the boat has been replaced by Berkling. This is
ie On the nose piece, there is a thread. My nose piece is brand new, but I thought to order another one in case I need it in There is no way to do that. I can't find it listed anywhere on the Berkling tools website. It's at least good to have a lot of tips available. There was a comment in one review that the tips would not The tip of the knife tinned easily after dipping it in the acid flux tin. Right now, they need to be cleaned and tinned in order to prevent becoming In addition, if it is too hot, they won't tin, they will simply.

The best solder tool I have ever used
5/5

Several other soldering irons I tried and was not satisfied with were so expensive, I had to replace my radio shack butane soldering iron after 35 years. My favorite thing about this Berkling iron is how comfortable it is to handle and how easy it is to use. I find it easy to turn on, pull the igniter and adjust the temperature with one hand. It's very nice having the clear tank so that I can watch how much fuel is left. This iron has plenty of fuel, I have been able to use it for 3+ hours on a tank full. I only used it for soldering so far and usually heat it up on high, then turn it down to medium to finish the job. I would highly recommend this iron and am very pleased with.

I'm not sure what to make of this first butane soldering iron
4/5

The compact size and light weight of this butaine soldering iron make it appealing to me. The truth is, with a full tank, this thing lasts only 30 minutes maximum, no matter what settings you put on. This might not be an issue based on your specific project. However, if the project is very large and you need more than 30 minutes, it can become frustrating. This soldering iron overall is a nice purchase for me.
