In order to obtain the maximum If you want to get the 24v 3amp power supply, I highly recommend it. It will not be able to reach the set temperature if it's not heated up quickly You will be able to get right to work on your project without having to wait for your soldering iron to heat up.
I just wanted to say hi to you In the event you cannot update the firmware, please confirm if either your USB cable or the computer you are using allows the data flow. This is the original TS100. The firmware updating issue results from some cable only supporting charge, but not transmission, which leads to the failure of updating software. I hope all is well with NovelLife
There is only one tip included in the order I placed. It has a pointy tip. The pads on printed circuit boards or PCBs have really small holes or pads, so I need to solder really small wires to them. Small pointy tips are an ideal solution when you only need to heat a very small area. In order to solder circuit boards, you must ensure that heat does not transfer anyplace else but the joint you intend to join. You will unsolder something else if you do not do this. In the "deluxe" version, there are 12 or 16 additional tips that have different body shapes and sizes to meet the wide range of heat transfer requirements. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

Three times in the last six months, I used the original tip for mine before one of the contact rings blew out (like a belt that is too tight) while inside the device. In the end, I was barely able to pull out the tip. As the cost of replacing the tip equates to 1/4 of the cost of the entire unit, I knock 2 stars off the rating. Other than the bad tip, the unit is excellent. It's the best soldering iron I've ever used (over 40 years of soldering experience). I would be repeating what other reviews foretell, so if I added a non-compelling reason, I would be contradicting what others have explained One of the unique aspects of my time.
Soldering iron of the highest quality. I'm not sure how many watts it has, but it's not really small. I have used it on power wires of 12 gauge on some of my larger RC models without any issues. I use this to solder my electronics just as I did with the previous station. In addition, it can run off a 3s to 6s lipo battery via an XT60 connector without fuss. You can even connect it to a cable. I used to use an iron twice as large and 1/3rd the power of my previous iron. One mild issue with any of the TS100 irons is not having a 24v power supply included in the box despite being rated for 24v. Having said that, the iron works fantastic, but the power supply it came with drops out when it heats up, which causes the iron to reset itself. It works fine with another power supply from an old laptop I had. (Another reviewer also had this issue) Fortunately I had another power supply. If you can get the same iron elsewhere for less would not recommend getting it from here in any case.

As a matter of certainty, I planned to go for a 24V 5A, but it's not cheap It does not come with a 12V power supply, as some of the similar devices do. The seller deserves a lot of credit Depending on the supply, there is either a soft PVC or silicone cable. Despite being not super soft, it may be sufficient for you, but there is some kink in the fabric. To ensure that it was comfortable to use, I bought an additional very soft DC extension cord. It is not important to me to test the battery cable, so I am not testing it. The picture looks much larger than the actual size. Seeing as how I've been using this iron for a while now, it's amazing how well it works as long as you take care of the tip.
