Outstanding printer.
Drivers who are absolutely awful! I've had this printer for 18 months and it's always been a struggle to get it to work. Today's issue is that I moved it to a different PC in the office, where it is recognized via USB, but the Windows driver that it installs does not recognize the printer. The printer can be configured and test labels can be sent using Zebra's own utilities, but the Windows 10 driver does not recognize it. This printer cost a lot of money. When it's working, it's a great and quick label printer. It's not something you should buy. First, check out Amazon for some of the more affordable 4x6 shipping label printers.
Zebra printers, it was said, were bulletproof. WRONG. From the beginning, this project was doomed to fail. Most of the time it didn't work, it froze up, and I learned from tech support that I needed to go into Services (Windows 10) and restart the print spooler on a regular basis. The printer would spit out a never-ending stream of labels until I turned it off half of the time. And yes, I'm aware of the sensor you need to adjust; we finally smashed it outside in our parking lot and cheered after 2 years of frustration with it! When the salesman who conned us into buying this piece of garbage told us that the more expensive versions of the printer were "prone to failure," I should have known something was wrong. BUY THIS ITEM AT YOUR RISK!.
