I doubt that your teenager will be able to pick a lock without a key, so you may see it working. My washing machine and dry washer are locked with these locks to prevent my room from being disturbed To prevent my mate from using them when I am not around. It is not safe for me to be staying with this roommate because of health issues, and he isn't a trustworthy person. There are two of these locks here, and I have them working fine but can't be certain if they are easily broken off. Thank you for your help!
I don't see one in the photo, and that's disappointing because it I think you'd be better off buying a thin luggage padlock and threading it through the hole in the prongs of the plug if the prongs have holes. There is about the same size difference between them
No one can tell me how these things keep locked together, or what force would bring them apart. This lock can be inserted into the loop that is pushed out one end of the cord when you plug it into the other sleeve of the unit. It holds tightly and works fine, but you need to purchase a padlock to lock the loop with. It is possible to remove the padlock by using bolt cutters, if one is determined to do so.

In a nutshell, The purchase was a bad one! Your money will be saved! The lockout device I bought for my washing machine was broken, so my neighbour was able to use it only to find the plug detached from the lockout device. It had a padlock on it, but it was broken and the plug was missing. As soon as I plugged the plug into the device and padlocked it, I realized that. You can pull out the plug by simply pulling on it! I cannot get a refund because it costs me to return it since I am not in the United States. You can save your coins and invest them in a better quality.

It is easy to padlock the locks over the prongs as they fit over the prongs well. Teenagers or others who are considering the potential danger of trying out the locks will find them completely useless, as they can be pulled right off the prongs. would like to use them as visual deterrents, they should work just fine (thereby earning two instead of one star). You should not use this product if you intend to stop others from using the plug you have locked down.
The rug was bought mostly for the home, where I feel that it is easy to pull off and rather weak overall. Someone pointed out that it does serve as a visual deterrent, but if I wanted to pull it off, it's not so difficult. Sorry to hear that.
Typically, most kids I know do this, but my kids know breakfast must come first and they migrate to TV even though they have chores to do or left over homework to do. The lockout plug cover I bought ends all of this and the broken record speech and consequences. Kids seemed to understand the point right away, and now they take care of everything they have to do the minute they wake up. If only I did not have to buy the lockout lock and key separately, the shopping experience would have been more convenient.
