Yes, but if it's a small plug, couldn't they Jimmy it out? It'll do for a dryer plug, though it'll be big because it's 240V!

We would have needed to construct a fence around the woodworking area if we hadn't done so. So I'm glad they exist, and we'll be using them in the future. Due to foster care regulations, we also use one to store refrigerated medication. It's just the right size for medicine bottles! They get three stars because they're difficult to open and close and don't come with locks, despite the fact that a lock is shown in the photo.
While it accomplishes my objectives, I wish the housing were a little more durable. The one I got isn't always keen on closing completely. Although it managed to withstand someone's attempt to break it, it is beginning to show signs of wear, and I am considering replacing it with something with a little more heft. I'm using it to keep other tenants in my building from using my personal washer/dryer, which is probably not the primary purpose for which this item was designed. But it does a good job of keeping cords safe from unauthorized use; just keep in mind that in a situation like mine, it might not last as long.
This is a fantastic device that allows me to lock the plugs to my washing machine and dryer to prevent others from using them in the laundry room of my building. It's a little finicky, and it takes a little fiddling to get it to close, but it works great, and I still recommend it. They're a little tight for two plugs, but they work, and I was relieved to find that I didn't need the second one I purchased.
br>Because they are made of hard plastic, they could be broken away by a heavy object, but if that happens, these non-breakable items will be destroyed. It's possible that you'll be charged with vandalism as a result of your actions. br>At the time of writing, Trespassers are no longer allowed to use the laundry rooms. br>I wish I had known about and discovered this product earlier. br>Desperate times call for desperate measures. Unfortunately, this is the case.
It's big enough to fit a 220v electric dryer plug while still being small enough to fit a 120v washing machine plug. If you want to keep it safe from prying eyes, you'll have to add your own lock. I'm overjoyed; yes, it's plastic, but dishonest people can break into almost anything if they're determined enough, and at the very least, this will deter so-called thieves. Relatives were barred from using my home as a personal laundry service.
This product only needs to be used once, so it's sufficient for me. Because of the tight dimensional tolerances, it is difficult to rotate. I would choose a different brand if I were a professional who needed to use this product frequently.
This is what I got because I don't want to go without my dryer when I'm not at home. I noticed that stretching it to get it to lock takes a long time- The out lock on does not move smoothly. Once you've closed the door; I must first lock the door and then retrieve the key. I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to work, but if the lock isn't locked, the key won't come out? It fulfills its purpose and is durable, so it is kept for that reason.
It is extremely difficult to open and close, and it does so in an unpredictable manner. If you can get it to cooperate, it will work. You can't use the strongest locks because the opening is so small. Because my adversary chose the keyed lock, I had to purchase a combination lock. Bolt cutters were all he needed to cut the hasp.
