There is a wide range of cables, so it will depend on what type you choose. The Dyneema, which I used on mine, is 50 inches long.

This winch does its job well

Two pieces of the puzzle were missing. This winch does its job well.
There were only a few missing pieces, a bolt and a clip for the steel cable. However, we were able to reassemble The old clip can be used as a guide and a square bolt from a local hardware store can be modified.

I am very pleased with the product

I have been able to lift and lower my 450-pound dinghy and motor easily and quickly using this stand. The winch is easier to operate than an electric one.
