I didn't use the swages because it was rope; I would have used them if it had been wire. Instead, I tied a bowline hitch to secure the rope.
It should work, but are you familiar with how to set up a pulley? If not, I recommend that you Google it.

These pulleys were installed today to allow me to raise and lower my two bird feeders that are suspended in a tree behind my house. This arrangement, I'm hoping, will keep the squirrels away. The performance of these pulleys in the outdoors will be determined over time.
When you put weight on the pulley wheel, it does not spin. The rope simply slides over the wheel, causing the entire situation to become extremely hot. The kit (2-pack) was purchased by me. 2 pulleys, rope, and pulleys carabiners) with the hope that everything would go smoothly; The rope, on the other hand, does not appear to be sufficient for this type of pulley. I tried a variety of ropes, but none of them seemed to work. Very let down.
Pulley's couldn't even lift 70 pounds.
The pulleys are great little gadgets, but I needed instructions, which I didn't have because I'd never rigged a pulley system before. I looked all over the Internet and YouTube for a simple video that showed how to rig two pulleys, and I finally came across funsciencedemos' "Simple Machines: "The Pulley," and lo and behold, I've figured out how to put together a pulley system. I'm still looking for a good YouTube video that demonstrates how to tie knots that won't undo themselves.
To support a bird feeder, I used three of the pulleys to route the line along the eave of my roof. I pull the line back into place after letting it out to drop the feeder so I can fill it. The finches in our neighborhood have been known to empty that feeder twice a week, and the pulleys appear to be spinning freely so far. Although ball bearings would have been nice, they appear to be of good quality.
This was ordered to replace a worn out pulley on a 75 pound machine. I used to lift weights, and the pulley struggled to turn the first time I tried. The rope and carabiners are capable of lifting the claimed weight, but the pulleys are not. They appear to be a weak point in the chain. If you have to lift more than 25 pounds, you should hire a professional. 30 pounds Consider larger pulleys I'll keep everything for future use, but I'll need to order a better pulley right now.
This was exactly what I needed. They're used as a topping lift for the door of a portable garage (Quonset type tent). When the door is hauled, the line is attached to the outside and runs up through the block on the inside, causing the door to rise and self pleat between the two lines. The high sides of the sheaves keep the line in place and prevent jamming. It's a cinch to use. I couldn't be more pleased.
The carabiner and pulley are both well-made and durable. They could easily accommodate a line with a much larger diameter than the one supplied. I have shoulder mobility issues and have hung a pulley and carabiner over a door so that I can stretch my shoulders and arms.
