Questions & Answers

Could you tell me if this works for ?

Despite the fact that the width of the pulley itself is just shy of 1/2 inch, the inside measurement between the two side plates is approximately 5/8

Can you tell me what size rope this pulley works with?

Three eighths of an inch should fit just fine. The Stanley Hardware N195-specifications can be downloaded if you search By clicking on the link for item 784, you will see a technical drawing. There is a diameter of 0 for the groove. Measures 39.5"

Is this a good system for training big dogs (up to 100 lbs) with a standard dog run wire?

Yes, it is. The products I used allowed me to board two police dogs for a week without a single On one occasion, when the larger dog was running, the wire got tangled between the pully and body. It should not be an issue if you use the 3/16" coated wire. I pulled the pin and put in an external washer and squeezed it a little and it worked.

Is it able to lift a lot of weight?

There is a weight capacity stated on the item in the image that is 420 pounds or 190 kilograms.

Bearings are not needed, and there is no lubrication, but after a light greasing, it runs well
4/5

My first action was to open it and examine the bearing. I don't know of any. The bushing on the crankshaft does not rotate due to lack of lubrication, and I tried to move it several times before deciding it wasn't moving. In a bearing, there is an interior, circular chamber filled with ball bearings, grease, and an axle inserted and sealed that rotates independently of the axle of the frame on which it mounts. The wheel is on an axle and it's simple. In light of all that, I revised this review after giving it a petroleum bath and hooking it up to my weight machine. With a bit of friction and heat, it came to life with There is not as much fluidity and zippy performance as a ball bearing packed axle, but it does a good job as an old world style axle. As far as how the price has overrisen since I made my purchase, you'll need to compare products My personal opinion is that this is worth the price and would go up to $10 considering how much I used it daily for a week. * This is an exceptional harvest compared to the common unbranded sheaves that come out of China!.

I used it to replace a plastic wheel that I had used previously
5/5

On a dog run, I used this to replace a wheel that broke (and was later replaced by something similar). As opposed to disconnecting the old line, he broke it off. Because of the cotter-pin, it was easy to install the new one A pin allowing it to be taken apart and put back together A complete assembly is applied over the top.

This is a great pulley
5/5

Pulleys manufactured by National MFG are of good quality. It has self-lubricating bushing liners on the pulley and a cotter pin to remove its shaft to enable you to attach it to a line. You don't have to thread the cable through and then you simply drop the pulley Put everything back together and you are good to go.

This is the National Hardware 3211BC swivel single pulley swing, two pulleys, 2" Zinc-plated, one inch (hint There's really no difference between 2 inches and 4 inches! In an effort to experiment with the size of the rope and the size of the product, I ordered it based on the description alone
3/5

A description of the product calls it a 2-inch Despite the fact that they are advertised as 1 "pulleys, the items I received had UPC labels that indicated they were 1 1/8 "pulleys It seems more accurate to me if the pulleys are 1/2 inch. In many ways, the items I received are identical to the photo on the product page, except that there are metal pulleys on the outside of the casing that are silver in color. It appears that the wheel of the pulley has a brass color The picture of the one product in the catalog caught my eye, so I zoomed in to check if the writing was the same in the photo and on the product I received. I wanted to clarify if a mistake had been made in the size of the pulleys I received. There were no differences in the numbers With a capacity of 420 pounds, the pulleys are rated to carry heavy loads. The weight of a man is 190 kg. There is only one slight difference between my pulleys and the pulleys I received Stanley has been added over National. Having grown up with Stanley products, that new addition can only be viewed as a positive. Thankfully, I happened to have small pieces of rope on hand while writing the review, as well as a tool that allows me to figure out the diameter of bolts by dropping them through the various holes. As a conclusion, I am pleased to report that the answers to the questions I would have liked to have before I purchased my pulleys are that they can accommodate ropes in 3/8" diameter at the maximum. A DIMENSION OF EIGHTHYS OF A 2) THE SIZE OF THE HOLE IN THE TOP, SWIVELING PART OF THIS PULLEY IS ALSO 3/8", IN CASE THAT IS A CONSIDERATION FOR YOU WHEN YOU SELECT THIS HOLE IS WAY TO BIG TO FIT A STANDARD CARABINER. WHAT WE CALL A "QUICK-DART" A 3/8" Rounded cross section might work, or perhaps you'd have to go one size smaller for a 3/8" round cross section. I have no problem with the quality of the pulleys I received, they look just fine. I just got them today, so I haven't yet put them to use, but they look As a result of the lack of information about how large the rope it can be used with and the label at the top of the product page telling me that the product is two inches, I gave this product only three stars out of five. There is a big error in the listed dimensions of the product Despite its small size, this thing is quite interesting. It is 3/4" wide on the narrow side. The narrow side, outside to outside, is where the pulley wheel is. There are two nubs from the pulley shaft poking out of both sides of the shaft, adding to 1". Oh my gosh! The 1& is just something I figured out the other day On the UPC label, the 1/2 inch dimension is in fact correct, and the width of one inch is in fact adequate. This brassy-looking piece has a diameter of 1/2 inch PULLEY, you look great! A TWO INCH PULLEY IS NOT USED FOR THIS! IN ADDITION, THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY IS ONLY 3 INCHES FROM THE TOP OF THE SWIVEL CONNECTION TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PULLEY. A 3/8" diameter. NOWHERE ARE YOU GOING TO FIND A 10" OR A 5" DIMENSION 1 1/2 " IN DIAMETER. Considering only the 2" dimension, it can only be used from the bottom of the frame, which supports the pulley wheel, to the top of that same frame, which is the attachment point for the swivel. Although I am not sure if I am being clear, I am trying to provide potential buyers with more information than I had before. It was a pleasure to read everything you wrote.

An inclined plane
5/5

The item was delivered on time, is sturdy, and the top can be adjusted. I'm planning to use it as a project to lift up and down for my aquarium, to hang an LED lamp on the ceiling. A rope of no more than 3/8 in diameter can be used.

In order to replace a cheap pulley I bought at the , I installed a new one
4/5

As part of the process of repairing my track, I had to replace a cheap pulley I bought from the orange box. Even though it has been through a dozen rain storms it continues to work smoothly without the cable coming off the pulley one time.
