I'm surprised this hasn't gotten any reviews yet; I'm guessing it's because it's a little pricey for a tire inflator. br>You get what you pay for, and it appears that this is a once-in-a-lifetime tool purchase. br>The main assembly is well-made and designed to be left on the garage floor and operated by foot. You could also do it by hand if you wanted to. br>The pressure graduations are crowded and difficult to read, and the gauge is small. psi and bar scales are included, however. br>The hose is long and has a solid schrader and presta valve connection that engages without leaking. The connection is a little fiddly, and while the hose appears to be adequate in terms of strength, it lacks any abrasion protection, so I expect it to be the unit's weak point. br>There's also a needle adapter included for filling sports balls and the like, and the best part is that it's 90 degrees, making it easier to connect to motorcycle tire valve stems. br>The included instructions are clear and well written, though it does mention that thread sealing tape for the air hose coupling nipple was supposed to be included; The kit didn't come with any sealing tape. The coupling nipple is designed to fit a 3/8 hose quick connect, but it was extremely difficult to remove when I tried to replace it with a larger one to match my air system. Because of the combined minor flaws, I deducted a star, but it still appears to be a nice unit. br>I deducted a star because they tried to permanently install the connector nipple when they should have left it easy to replace and included the sealing tape as the directions promise. br>I deducted a star because of the combined minor flaws, but it still appears to be a nice unit.
I like the options for flat or conical bearing ends, two shaft lengths, and 3/8" drive, closed, box end, or socket adjustment options.
I couldn't figure out how to connect to the tire valve, it's a strange hookup, and I'm used to mechanical items, but not this one, and there were no instructions, so I bought another one to avoid the frustration.
The hose is flimsy, and the first time I used it, it literally fell apart. I had hoped for a better unit for the price of $45 dollars. Do not make a purchase.
