I'm not sure why, but removing the drive shaft seals on a Ford Focus worked out great. The kit also came with a slew of other puller tools.

This item includes a jaw puller! Used to pull a 2005 Subaru Forester rear wheel hub, as well as remove the inner race with the included jaw puller - a very nice addition To complete the task, all you'll need is this tool and a bearing puller set. The hammer did a good job of getting both sides out, though one side that was particularly stuck took about 100 hits in total - I was exhausted to the point of exhaustion! But this is what came out of it. The other side was quick to emerge, perhaps 8 minutes. 10 hits. Customer who is happy with the service.
Thread count of 18 The thread on this puller set is listed as 5/8-inch. However, it is m16x1 that is being used. Any other puller accessories available on the market will not work with this. I recommend only purchasing a puller with a 5/8-inch diameter. Thread count of 18 This one was given back to me.
I used it to remove a wheel bearing from a Subaru Forester and it worked perfectly. I haven't tried the other attachments yet, but I think they'll be useful in the future. My only criticism is that when you pick up the blow molded case by the handle, some parts don't stay in place. This isn't a major flaw, but the case could be better.
Had to fiddle with it because it wouldn't bolt up to the hubsbr>Got it to work after 30 minutes of nonstop poundingbr>Hubs came offbr>Did, after some consideration. Do what I asked of you.
Because I didn't have a 5/8 X 18 thread, I had to make adapters to use my items. There haven't been any issues with the set yet, but misleading customers isn't a good business practice. 16MM X 1 is the thread size. 5 thread. Making adapters cost me another $30, but I needed them and didn't want to return them. Because of this, I will not recommend it or buy it again.
As expected, it was quite heavy, but with about 5-minutes of effort, I was able to remove the Subaru hubs. 6 slides.
super nice, easy to use, threading rod into pieces can be a little difficult at times, but as long as you don't cross threads, it'll work fine.
This is one of my favorites because it does everything I need it to do at a reasonable price.
