Does this magnet work for children under the age of 12?

It is not uncommon to take my 7 and 5 year old daughters. The magnets they throw are their whole lives. The age of the children does not seem to matter. However, you might want to assist young children in taking the metal off the magnet or at the very least have them wear Don't throw that on a bridge. Just tell them not to throw that on a bridge. It is very important to tighten the eye bolt with a wrench in order to make sure that you don't lose the magnet. It is also a good idea to tighten the carabiner clip. It is not necessary to put loctite in there prior to the connection, but it can provide extra strength

The bolt in my magnet will it come off if I throw it in the water?

There was an issue with the bolt coming off the magnet at first. Originally, we recommended threadlocker back in 2014, but it didn't seem to be popular with our customers, so we decided to upgrade the product and install threadlocker during the installation process, so all you need to do is throw the magnet into the water to start using it. You might find that some units do not come with threadlocker in them. Read the instructions before you use it to be certain it's right for you

I haven't fished with it yet, but I had three 1/2" slabs of steel. together, I know it was only 60 lbs, but it didn't even think about letting go. I think that it will hold up to the maximum rating it was rated for. For the magnet to come off the steel I had to use a rubber mallet and tap it with the mallet. firmly affixed to the wall when I removed it. The fishing magnet below is a good choice for those looking for good fishing magnets. That's the real deal!.

This is garbage

With the help of this product, my kids and I will be able to do some magnet fishing. It took me no more than a few minutes to get the magnet out of the box and secure the eyebolt. I then latched the Carabiner and tossed it into the water, pulling up only the rope and eye bolt before realizing the magnet wasn't there. A huge waste of time and money.

Magnet with a great deal of strength

A magnet fishing trip with my son was one of the reasons why I got this. A magnet can lock on to something very strongly and is hard to take off once it has been anchored. Overall, the kit was unmatched for its quality despite the gloves not being the best.

A missed throw on the first attempt! There's nothing like seeing kids in their element! The first throw resulted in the magnet being lost

I bought two, but the other magnet could not be removed since it did not attach well. I just burned more money at a bar than at a gentleman's club because the kids were cranky and I burned $ 30 faster. I mean it. a magnet that won't fall off or a magnet that isn't fragile.

This is a very well-made magnet, but it does not have any magnetic force anywhere except for the flat bottom surface. of the boat will collect almost no water, making it a poor choice for magnet fishing, since the side is dragging on Only about an inch of reach is necessary for a magnet to pick up a small key chain. The attachment stays in place once it is made. I am impressed with the connection to a flat steel surface. The rope is a bit useless but it works (though I wouldn't hang off of it), and the gloves are really bad. Even so, it seems high quality for its price point, and I am satisfied with the purchase in general.
