His YouTube videos were one of the things he showed us, and he wanted to test it out! Because we were new to all of this, we didn't want to waste all of our money on something we would only use once and then throw away. Our selection of this kit was based on its low price and appearance, and the fact that it seemed to offer everything he wanted to begin. Behind our house there is a creek with a bridge that crosses it, and his first time out he brought up a 4 foot piece of metal. . . ! Despite the cold and wind, he decided to keep fishing, but it was only 32 degrees and he wanted to keep going. We are looking forward to going out again and fishing for more treasures. I have no doubt he will love this kit, and we are looking forward to many more fishing trips to come.

As well as being used (as I paid for new), it was sealed back in its waterproof container-- something I would have expected from a fishing set. It looks like a container that is A dirty canal reeked of filth, and the car was filthy and rusted.

I think this is a great kit, aside from that. My husband and I had plans to go magnet fishing this weekend, but now we aren't able to. Feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Tossing it off the shore isn't a good idea

I had never done magnet fishing before so I was looking forward to this. It was very fast that I realised I needed a magnetic cap with a rope attached to the top side. I threw it into the Lake one by one and dragged it to shore every time, but the magnet would never be on the bottom of the lake. Furthermore, at times I was unsure whether I would ever be able to retrieve it because it was caught on every rock.

The case was good for beginners, but mine was missing thread lock and I had two gloves on the right hand

There may have been a seller or it might have been Amazon, but the case was partially open. No thread locker was in the room and I got two gloves with the right hand. The magnet is fairly small, but seems to be strong so far. I can buy it myself, so I will keep it. So far, it seems to be working well. Hopefully I'll have a chance to use it soon.

This kit is so cute. I like the way it is I think we'll be able to use it after a little assembly. There is a sense of durability and it looks good. Thus far, so good. If the 700 lb magnet gathers the size catch I am looking for, I may be able to use it. Coins and gold can be acquired at this level. What do you know?.
