I was surprised by the size and weight of this magnet when I took it out of the box for the first time. In the first few times I've used it, after tossing it over 100 times and about 2 hours, I realized that it is no heavier to throw than the Orange or Blue kit from Muscular Magnetics, but I was completely surprised at the pull. During my time on the bridge I could hear the click when you have found a new treasure and I was roughly 20 or 25 feet above the water. I now consider this magnet to be my favorite. The first time out, it pulled up 2 different leaf springs, a few pieces of rebar, and some other of these fish came from an area we had already fished with smaller magnets several times in the past. This either means I got lucky finding new items or this pull on this product is much stronger than the others that I am acquiring material that hasn't been tried previously.
