Those who purchase the 250' version are doing so at their own risk! The cable spool was not a full length of 250 feet, it was in pieces

A cable was sent to me that was not the full 250' length as a single piece. In the vicinity of 180', the cable had been cut and taped together with electrical tape previously. The length of cable should not be cut in pieces to reach the specified length when purchased. It takes 250' of continuous cable for us to build our zipline, not two pieces of cable that total The frustration is unbearable. I was satisfied with how well made the cable and spool seemed besides its speedy delivery and lack of visible damage when it arrived. Nevertheless, my 1 star review is due to the length of cable being the most important factor when purchasing cable.

It was unclear to me that there was more than one cable 250' long when it says 250'. Several pieces do not make up one whole.

A good price for a good quality cable

A good price for a good quality cable. As a result of using the bulk spool, I made up 50 foot lengths with Flemish eyes on both ends to use on our wood lot to skid logs. Using them for a few months, I've even left them strung in slack blocks in the sun for a week without any signs of rust. They have held So far, there have been no issues.

It was used for a zip line and is really 250 feet all in one piece

It comes on a nice spool for storage. There are no kinks or broken parts and it is easy to work with. As soon as I install the second zip line, I intend to purchase it again.

Wire rope, which is what it is. There is galvanizing on it. One quarter inch is all it is. The rest of the conversation is rather short. Not on some cheap plastic spool but on a nice sturdy wooden spool.
