It was not quite 2500 pounds of force that caused it to break, and I had to have it to break for it to break. It could have been in the knotted area chose not to pay attention to it. As far as I can remember, the knot did break near one of the areas where it was tied.
If I want to attach a hook, I will tie an Alpine Butterfly Loop (also known as a Lineman's Loop). This is a knot I use all the time, it's simple and reliable.
As far as I am concerned, this is safe to use for a 200-pound person. As one strand of the tape is rated at 10x the weight, you should be able to manage. You could use two strands if you want to You will be able to do it.
There are no continuous spools in the smaller sizes. Some continuous spools are also found in the 3000'. In the case that a spool has a splice, you will be able to gather where it is by marking it.

An FYI for anyone who is thinking about buying the 3000' spool the spool is 6. 0 meters long. In other words, it's never going to be Basically, the lines have about 500' intervals and a piece of packing tape holds them INVESTIGATION IS HIGH. Even so, the product is still very good, just that one detail was overlooked.
The wide range of uses of paracords has recently led me to search for alternatives to paracord. You get a lot of strength for a very low price, and it won't Only downside is that, since it is a primary use item, you have to buy it in fairly large lengths (unless you find someone on ebay who has sliced it up into smaller lengths). The hammock I have come to rely upon is made from this material after experimenting with several different ones (climbing rope, paracord, nylon cordage, etc. ). By tying a bowline to one end of a hammock strap, I make an extremely useful hammock strap. The end that goes to the tree is the end that should be attached. Attach a series of alpine butterfly loops three to a row The hammock loops are 4 inches apart. Clip the hammock carabiner into one of the loops and you are ready to go. Is a breeze to use. As a result of its multiple loops, the bowline is adjustable, and since it is easy to untie, even after being under tremendous strain it is easy to use. Two knots that every knot-tying person should be familiar with. It's really handy to have them.
In the case of 500 feet, I wouldn't need the measurement markings, although they would be great at this price. The stretch on this stuff isn't supposed to occur yet, but it shouldn't This is one reason it can hold a lot of weight and last quite a long time. I like the thickness because it gives me more to hold onto when I tie guy lines, lashings, etc. But more specifically it can be used to build strong structures. During a camping trip, wooden structures such as lean-tos are common. As you can see from the picture with the lighter, the width is measured against the blue tape held down by a push pin at the beginning. When I asked Cajun about the weight of this spool, he answered my question with accuracy. It registered six times three times on my digital scale. The weight of the package is 5lbs.
It was good quality mule tape, but the spooling of it was rather bad. There was only a distance of approximately 125 feet that I was installing. I ran the mule tape through each joint as I glued them together, so I did it this way. It took me about 100 feet to get to the top. In addition, the conduit at the starting end was hanging down the electric pole. I pulled more tape to loosen it. I noticed the mule tape had disappeared from the point where it was going into the conduit at the start! 300-foot bridge was completed in 2004. Despite the roll's size, 300 feet were not included. Spliced into approximately 100 feet of continuous tape, some 100 feet apart! Now the tape inside the conduit was lying at the bottom of a 10 foot length of conduit. A vertical joint is somewhere in the span of 24 inches and sweeping 90 degrees. There was only one option left for the moment, which was to purchase a 100+ foot home. It will be a lot easier if you fish tape since the conduit is glued together or if you cut the conduit to get to the mule tape and pull the new piece off with that. As I didn't want to spend more money on a fish tape, I chose to cut the conduit and reattach it with a new piece of conduit, which was also a bit of a headache.
That was the direction it was going. It helped keep the trunk from falling on our greenhouse when this cord was tied to another tree. I found it to be straightforward and easy to use.
It is not clear to me how much it weighs. Saplings that are less than 1/2" long can be easily pulled out with this tool. There are times where I use tow straps and hook up five at a time so I can pull saplings off the trees around an This mule line is snapping much too easily when I pull slow and steady with a small ATV. At a specific time I wanted to connect ten saplings at one time using 10 different kinds of mule "straps," respectively. I'm not interested. Though it's pretty strong, I wouldn't put too much faith in it to hold more than 200 pounds.
There is definitely enough strength in the tape, and it is well-tied. So far, I have been totally satisfied. A few updates It was a good idea to buy a second roll after the first. There is no scientific evidence to prove that the stuff is 2500 pounds strong, but I believe that it is. Despite being outside for months and still holding up very well.
It is a great lashing when you are out. This same length of 3 50' has been used for quite a few trips, and it does not seem to deteruorate. The powerful 2500 lbs of pull ensures that even when I am carrying my bag, my gear ALWAYS stays put. also use 550 cord, but this stuff comes in handy when I need the highest degree of structural support.
