It is a great rope for the price. Despite the fact that this last 200' section does not seem to be rounded, it does not seem to matter at all. In addition to tree rigging, I use it for flipping lines, pulling, etc. As a result of rigging and lowering branches and logs, my body has been put through 2000+ pounds of shock. No matter what I throw at it, it handles it without issue. So long the blue ox company continues to make this rope, it will be my preferred rigging line.
The quality of this product is very good. It is sturdy and holds up.
The rope is very strong and sturdy. My decision to acquire it was based on the fact that I needed a new rope and the price was good. It is difficult to tie some knots with this rope because it is stiff.
No, rope isn't intended to be used as a tree rope. Our rope stretched out the first time we used it, so we now have a square shape instead of a round one. We would not recommend using this rope for work on trees. The quality of this product is very poor.
