Does it protect against UV rays? Is it required to keep the guy rope in place 24 hours a day?

There is no UV resistance with this product. There was a sketchy splice in the spool and it did not seem to be of high quality at all. If you plan on using it for anything other than a light load, I wouldn't recommend it.

The rope is not 1/4", it measures out to The 20" mark. Poly rope 1/4 in diameter that measures as is available at the hardware store I was disappointed when I first saw it because it was only 25". This rope, while reasonably limp in comparison to other kinds of rope, is quite slick, will not hold a knot, and tends to unravel itself as you watch it. In this case, the rope is stated on the manufacturer's site with a working load of 58lbs, not the 210lbs stated For tying down tarps and securing small water toys and canoes or lightweight rowboats, you can use this knot as long as you tape down the loose end to prevent the knot from separating. I wouldn't buy it again now that the price has soared so much.

The rope length is shorter than what is listed, 1100' instead of the listed 2000ft

It turns out that there is just 1100' of rope instead of 1200' as listed in the description. The video also has a nasty splice with a length of about 20' that I cut and had to In the end, I had just 1000 feet of rope that I could use. It is not worth returning to get the rope because I need it It would be nice if Amazon addressed this issue, but I am not expecting it to occur.

There is nothing extraordinary about this rope it's just a standard yellow poly loose weave rope of 1/4 inch. In the event that you use it frequently, it has a good value for money.

What is more important to know is that it is yellow and that its rope is yellow. I agree that this is the yellow rope that is a bit difficult to tie, but it is probably the best value when it comes to the amount of material you get for the.
