What is the buoyancy of this rope?

I used it for a rope swing so I would imagine so, but honestly, I am not sure.

How would you describe the color of this rope? Is it deep red or maroon as the picture suggests?

I am not an expert on color, so it is just like the Red is my favorite color, but I don't care too much about it. The rope has a very high strength and we use it regularly.

Ropes described as not suitable for splicing are not suitable for this application. Could you recommend a spool of 5/8 that is suitable for splicing halters etc. that I can take to Mexico?

There is no way to splice this rope it is made of solid braid. You need an 8-foot length for this rope To splice braids and ropes, use 12 stand ropes or braids.

A 5/8" poly tube is usually considered to have a WLL of 240 pounds. The material poly is light and does not have much strength, but is light and feels good in the hand. If you need strength, use nylon, polyester or some high tech reinforcement.

After two years, the wood rotted and snapped

The average age of the children is 5. It was purchased in september of this year. There was a red line. June 2019 saw it turn white and snap, rotten to the core. There hasn't been much time for rope swings in the past five years. My son was blessed not to have been swinging or he would have been hospitalized. So much had stretched out that I was adjusting the swing to its new height. In order to test it, I put a little weight on it since it looked like it was crumbling.

The product does what it is supposed to do

I have really like this rope, and it is more of a lighter red than it appears in the picture. As a decorative item in my home, I find those characteristics attractive, so I use rope for my purposes. In addition to being soft, the rope itself is also pleasant to hold. As the 5/8" is somewhat thick, it can be tough to make small, tight knots. A couple hundred pounds of weight should be no problem for the rope, which seems reasonably strong. The rope has good build quality, but I noticed only two places where the braid appeared to skip a bit, but overall, the rope is of good quality. Nylon is the core of this product.

I used it to enjoy some decorative bondage time with my wife. The knot is easy to undo as well as knot You have knotted. It makes for a nice decorative good time.

It didn't turn out that way

Before, I had ordered this 2 times, and it held up well. The braid this time wasn't a solid braid. It has a core in the middle, so it does not last as long as the last time. Unlike before, I am already having to replace my battery in March, whereas I used to have it for.

It is not of the highest quality, there are things like loose threads and extra fibers even Whether or not this is important to how you intend to use the product, it is an excellent value for the price. I would have paid 4 times as much at a local hardware store and it worked as It should have.
