What is the percentage of nylon in this product?

It is rare to find 100% nylon anymore, as the majority of nylon has some polyester in it and the difference cannot be detected unless the nylon is I appreciate it

If the rope smells like chemicals, paint or stains, how would you describe the smell? I have found some ropes that have these properties and some that do not. How are you?

There should not be a chemical scent in this rope.

Would you mind letting us know if the diameter truly is 1/2 inch and/or if it has been used in a windlass. Thank you. ?

There is a slight difference in thickness between this and 1/2". The rope has not been tested for use in a windlass, but it should be as effective as other nylon polyester blends.

Use rope as a security line for people walking along the dock, it worked excellently, and I would recommend it to others The design looks good to me. A new line replaces a polypropylene pipe that dried out & cracked Eventually, the sun will deteriorate the material.
