Questions & Answers
This hitch has been in my possession and use for over a year. I would never attempt to lift anything heavier than 300 pounds. With it, I'm carrying 400 pounds. It's a low-cost Chinese item that performs a basic function. Even 300 pounds seems to be too much for it, and the hitch bar's weld broke. With it, I'm able to move a generator. You have a 2-pound lifting capacity. With the chain and hook as it comes, 2 1/2 feet into the bed. As you swing the item around into the bed, your feet want to rise off the ground. It puts a lot of torque on the hitch components that aren't well welded. For the money, it DOES work. But not in the way they describe.

Yes, it disassembles because it's difficult to move it any other way; it's not difficult to disassemble, but it takes a few minutes to reassemble.
It's positioned to the side so that you can load the cargo with the tailgate down. The cargo cannot be lifted over the closed tailgate because the arm does not extend far enough. There's no way to just hook it up to the hitch like that. It's also designed to swivel from the side.

This was purchased so that we could transport an industrial margarita machine in the bed of our truck. The pivot point that moves up and down isn't high enough to fit anything into the truck. It appears to be extremely durable and matches the image exactly. However, if you want to use it to lift something taller than 18 inches to 2 feet, you won't be able to get it in the truck without clearing your tailgate.
I really like it. I'm sick of being a human crane, and as I get older, everything hurts more. Lifts a generator, steel, and large pieces of power poles that will be used as gate posts. When you first put the jack together, don't be alarmed if it doesn't work. It's possible that you'll have to bleed the air out of it. (it only takes a few seconds)br>br>I keep it in the box it came in, sitting on top of two HF 18x12" Hardwood Dolly's under my workbench. I simply tied a rope to one of them and wheeled it out to the pickup.
The majority of the parts were missing, and the box was shredded when I received it. Other parts, such as the hydraulic cylinder and chain, were missing. It worked fine once I had all of the parts. This is the second time I've had an issue with this firm. I purchased some loading ramps to load my motorcycle into my truck, but they were labeled incorrectly. Making it appear as if the load limit is half of what it actually is.
It's made to withstand a lot of abuse. The construction is of a very high standard. It is, however, heavier than I had anticipated. It's possible that the boom assembly is heavier than the object you're trying to lift. To ensure safety, at least two people should lift the assembly into the pivot cradle. You'll need to lift about 15 pounds. 4' (off the ground) to insert into pivot cradle insert; when assembling, be aware of any potential overhead clearance issues. It sort of defeated the purpose of my purchase, which was to be able to work on my own.
It was impossible to return because it was too large, so it was a complete waste of money. Although I'm sure I'll get pennies on the dollar when I scrap it after I've moved it around a few more times and have had enough of it. Oh, how I wish you'd asked me to do the review sooner! Thank you, I'm feeling a lot better.
It is not a quick lifting technique, but it does not put any strain on your back.
Hardware is missing, and there are pieces that are extremely irritated.
There are some restrictions. The design isn't particularly appealing. There are some restrictions. It might be possible to design it so that it travels higher off the ground and goes deeper into the truck bed.
