Casters 3" in diameter are 1 1/2" in diameter at the center of the wheel -- As it's 1" over the top of the wheel, the mounting plate will hang over it. A wheel with 3" width plus 1" height equals 4" above the plate and 3" below The width of one inch is 1/2 of the diameter of a There are 3" on each side of the wheel and 1 1/2" on the top plate, so there are 4" total on the top It is 2 1/2" in diameter from the center of the wheel to the top of the plate Here's the explanation I hope makes sense -
Thank you for your response. These will be used on a tool cart that weighs about 500 pounds. The cart is being rolled up and down an asphalt driveway 100 feet down and back 100 feet all day all week and so far the wheels are exceeding my expectations showing no wear at all and rolling very smoothly, plus they have a strong brake to secure the There are no problems with these wheels as they are made of the same urethane as skate board wheels. Though they may be difficult to drag through gravel, but they are easy to drag on concrete or pavement.
As soon as the epoxy cures, there will be no reaction between the epoxy and the wheel compound.
I can only get one out without removing one and doing that would be difficult so I think it would be possible for you to get them to work.

It was not polyurethane as described in the listing title of the 3" casters that I received in May 2020. In fact, they were made of PVC, which is no good for heavy-duty uses The tires on these casters are heavy duty. A PVC table will develop a 'set', a flat spot, if it is not moved for a week if it is left in the cold. It's clear from the description and illustration of the casters in the listing that they are PVC, so I had contacted the seller about the contradiction between the title and the description before I made my purchase. Their response that they would get back to me was never followed up on. Depending on Amazon's guarantee on whether they were indeed PVC, I waited for a week before purchasing them. It is important to mention that these are priced similarly to polyurethane. It's better to have tires on casters rather than PVC ones.
My order consisted of several different models, all three of them having swivels and dual-levels You have to use the brakes. Price-wise, they are in the same Overall, these were a slight step up from their predecessors, though still far less than what gushing reviews would indicate. There's a vibration around the mounting pin/bolt when the ball bearings are loose c. ) The swivel bearings are decent, but not as good as what you get when you spend It consists of teeth in the brake and swivel plate - these are both used to imprison the wheel - Doesn't seem to be very stable but works kind of. You should spend a little more if you intend these for precision equipment or a work platform. Then you can be sure the stuff is properly certified from a known vendor.
This is a great set of To make sure I was not being ripped off, I purchased the cheapest heavy duty casters on Amazon. These casters are for the bottom of a 400 lb workbench that has crushed other casters in the past. The bench is so heavy that even with casters it has been very difficult to move. These have helped it roll effortlessly around my shop since I installed them. You can get them for a good price if you pay in the low 20s for shipping. Another set of wheels for a vehicle dolly was just ordered.
Invest in new mounting bolts and screws, not old ones. As part of this set, you receive a set of mounting bolts, nuts and washers, which is appropriate for mounting them onto However, I managed to get them to replace the worn-out part Two heavy-duty wheels are mounted on each side The mounting hardware was different for the plastic carts we use in our school cafeteria, which were manufactured by two different companies. Despite only having been used for three years, the old wheels had worn out. The problem with the original wheels was that they were nothing more than composite plastic wheels mounted on a 3/8" bolt. These wheels have double ball bearings and can hold three times as much weight as the original ones, will last 10 years, and are much cheaper than what the manufacturers are asking for. They perfectly matched the old holes on one unit that was attached by screws, and it took no more than 20 minutes to complete the conversion. Despite being more challenging, the other unit was equally fun. There were old bolts to remove that were difficult to remove. To get one out, I had to drill it. The old mounting surfaces were recessed 1/4 inch, so I had to add a plywood washer of 1/4 inch to allow the new wheels to run properly. The intent is not to be critical of the product. In fact, the product is great, but there may be other issues that have to be overcome in order to make it.
In order to make a rolling lumber cart, I purchased these, and I found they roll easily when I have As well as locking very securely, they are also very durable. The only word of advice I can give you is There is nothing wrong with the quality of the video or the The bearing capacity of this product is Generally you should purchase a caster with a larger diameter than you think you might need, as I found that 4" casters got stuck on small pebbles or in the concrete expansion joints between As long as the equipment is not heavily loaded As long as the car is loaded, that shouldn't make a difference. It would be nice to work with him.
It was a few months later for Son. I am impressed with the wear and tear on the wheels. A moving company, a blacktop, and concrete are no match for it. With my own hardware, I positioned them at bottom of my work bench. Hard surfaces don't seem to bother the rolling wheels at all. I have no idea what grass is like. Most of the time, my workbench weighs about 200 pounds. During moves or when my bench was loaded with tools, the weight has exceeded 1000 pounds. Despite the easy movement, they stayed together. You need to press harder on the brake pedal to stop. Its a good thing that is happening, but it is still a problem. We have never had a problem with the brakes. The aircraft takes off easily.
I think these casters are really nice. I was surprised how well it turned out. The kit includes mounting bolts, washers, and nuts I'm nuts. Their smooth motion and ability to change direction without resistance make them ideal for garage floors made of concrete. Both rolling and rotation are firmly held in place by the brake.
My name is Amadeus. This is a great set of casters. They were used on my old mechanics roll cart, an old cornwell with 4 drawers and a hidden storage area on top. Currently, my cart is loaded with all the tools I use the most, so it has some weight. It is so easy to roll, I actually have to lock the casters to keep it in place sometimes. They have ball bearings and were easy to attach. They should last a long time with 300 lbs. capacity per caster. The casters on this cart would likely replace the stock ones in a new cart. This is well worth the effort. Furthermore, I'm only walking on a smooth surface. In fact, I won't compete in dirt, gravel, or anything of the sort.
