What can it do if it is filled with molten copper in a cylinder of graphite crucibles that weigh 3kg?

It is true that I am not very I will however warn you that it is very dangerous to use these tongs with melting metal, even if it is only 3 kg. I recommend not using these tongs for large amounts if you still want to work with them.

Is it possible to use a 4kg crucible with these?

If you are going to use a 4kg crucible, I would suggest a larger size. For size reference, we have an 18" size that has a picture of them with a 3kg crucible, but a 4kg is pretty big.

Does this provide enough grip for picking up a 12" x 1 1/2" steel file from a pail designed forge if you have one hand free?

You can squeeze them tight enough as long as you squeeze them hard enough

My goal was to lift a graphite crucible containing 1 oz of gold at 2000 F degrees that measured 4 inches high by 3 inches in diameter. The thongs curved slowly as they heated up. There was a chance for me to suffer a major disaster when the crucible almost fell. There is a need for the seller to find an improved There is going to be serious injury to someone.

The wrong ones are what I had ordered

There are a couple oil filter wrenches that work well as well but didn't fit my crucible
I'll just bend the end to fit it
I also have a pair of oil filter wrenches that would be nice as well.
