(Ordered two sets). Both arrived in perfect condition. How environmentally friendly is this product? The only thing I can think of is that. A little bit? The paper was all there was, no plastic or styrofoam, but it created a lot of waste. You make what you will of it.
Selected User Reviews For Corning PYREX #1000 Griffin Low Form, Glass Beaker Set with Magnetic Stir Bar - 3 Sizes - 50ml, 100ml, 250ml
The other reviews I read about people receiving broken items, or items that were not the same as what they ordered, made me a little concerned. The Pyrex beakers I ordered are of excellent quality, and it was worth the premium I paid. Despite the heavy set I received, I was surprised at how comfortable it was This item met all of its duties and was well packaged. These are not cheap copies from China, these are the real thing. The beakers have never caused any problems for me when I have used them on my gas stovetop.
With the help of an electronic scale I measured how many grams of water (after setting the scale to zero before pouring) went into Here are some pictures. The 80 ml beaker is most accurate and provides the best results, having a slight error of 1 ml. There are 6 more ml in 200 ml than the title indicates. The limit is 8% (over their 5% limit) and similar limits affect the 50 ml size A six-point difference has been made. Buyers need to be cautious about accuracy, since the rate is 14%. Keep the delta in mind when evaluating your results if accuracy is a requirement. You can use the 50 ml beaker as a shot glass, for example. There is no such thing as a double-shot. The 50 ml requirement above only equals 5 ounces, so you must fill the remainder (with your elixir of choice) up to full volume. I would like to compensate for the slight deficit by taking the following measures The answer is yes, yes, yes. have not used them yet, but I do expect and believe that they will be up to the job. In addition, they are the perfect size for my needs (admittedly, they are small, but that's I have to admit that they are kind of cute.
The shipping box had no "fragile" sticker, so it is entirely possible that the fragile label was omitted. It is however likely that the 1000mL, 100mL, and 50mL beakers are intact. As soon as this situation is resolved, I will update this review.
This set fit the bill since I already own a dozen 250 ml Pyrex beakers and have been impressed with the quality, but also needed a few smaller ones for distilling work so I grabbed them The image is tilted incorrectly, and/or it is.
The beakers are in excellent condition, and at a great price as well. They appear to be the real thing, not a cheap replica. While I haven't yet put them through an extreme stress test, since I haven't yet put them to that kind of stress they are holding up well so far and I feel quite satisfied with them. Since it is 600ml in size, the 600ml capacity is perfect for mixing cocktails, which is now my primary use for it. In total, there are five (5) beakers in the set It contains a liter of liquid I think 600 mL is a good amount Each 250 mL has been weighed mL and 50 mL* Note that these are Corning no. 1000 (the product code is 1000). Although it has a thinner glass than the heavier duty 1003 model, it is perfectly acceptable unless you plan to abuse it in a laboratory.
Almost all the situations that arise are covered. The set of beakers is of high quality and will last a long time with proper care. It is an authentic Corning Pyrex Brand, and is an impressively low price. They are being used to mix electronic music Also ordered on Amazon were liquid recipes as well as a set of Corning cylinders. Spend a few extra bucks on quality and you will be glad you did. It is easy to read the markings due to their The glass is clear no bubbles or flaws can be detected as in.
This has been a really fun tool These are the type of mixer I utilize in the kitchen for mixing marinades, dressings, etc. I'm not sure if they are graded for use it that way, but I have enjoyed using them in that way. You can definitely tell they are Pyrex chemistry glasses. If I have a bigger kitchen or if I wanted to buy some more as a gift, I would certainly purchase more. As can be expected with Pyrex, one flaw is that it is easily broken.
can stand the test of time! The calibration of these beakers hasn't been checked, however, the beakers themselves seem well made and seem to be somewhat close to my expectations. There was a clash between them which could easily have led to both of them breaking. It was good to have them here- Unless I find a way to accidentally damage them, I will not hesitate to order more of these. The best accidents I have had so far have failed in that area.
