I want to stack the books. 2 units of 1 beaker are 8 1/4" tall. 1 beaker is 5 3/4" tall, stacking 2nd beakers are 8 1/4". You may not be able to separate the top beaker from the bottom beaker if you compress the top beaker. To keep them free, I use a strip of paper towel.
