It would have been found in tact in the valley, without an ounce of damage if the package had been tossed from a mountain top! Glass liter beakers are not only my favorite but they are also the fetish of the Karter company, which sells a glass art object, and Amazon, which packages the beaker to look as if it is a Faberge egg! Despite being a little pricey [but I receive it in two days), Amazon provides great service! What can be done if someone complains? At the time of my writing, I am sipping a glass of cold brew coffee with coconut milk and ghee that has been steaming We would love to have you. A second beaker is on its way to me. It is said that Yogi Bear (not the accomplished one) was the yogi of the Tucson desert. I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions.
It was for my son's science fair that I purchased six of these. It was necessary to boil the water to dissolve the borax so that a crystal could be formed. While boiling water in the third beaker, the beaker cracked. It's okay that I'm getting one out of six, but given I'm using the product with a child, I got a little concerned.
They were accurate! I am impressed with Karter Scientific glassware. They were spot on for every 100 ml line. I was impressed with the glassware because it was sturdy and easy to read the demarcations.
This beaker is weaker than I thought it would be, and that's disappointing. Upon receiving it, I put it down on a counter-top and it did exactly what it was intended to do. The fact that it was totally unexpected did not mean I attempted to smash it, or put it in great care.
A transparent glass that is more reasonably priced than a Pyrex or Kimax is something I like. Although, it might not be as costly as it appears to be. In my experience, I use it best for microwaved oatmeal and want to avoid messes by watching the action of the "volcanic" boiling.
The glass of their beaker is thinner than that of my other.
It has not been a problem for me at all. What has been described is exactly what has been described. There is no need to thin the glass. I would definitely buy from them.
I use them to make drinks for my husband who's a chemist and bartender. This is the syrup he stirs them in or the stirbar he uses to make simple syrup.
