You should align the bag so that the drawstring holes are centered along the side of the can when you set it in (see diagram). The 30 gal bags we purchased have allowed us to use them more fully, saving us money on bags and reducing the frequency of going to the bin. I waited too long and missed the opportunity to buy it.
