Is it possible that these pads get torn while being used? Can you tell me what I can do to fix it?

The pads of the shoes are thin. The thicker pads that are more durable are not available to me for some reason. There are a lot of tears on those, and the pads seem to wear out quickly. They seem to have cost the same when they cut the pads in half. A cheap pad that clogs up and is trash.

These seem thin to me, or thick to me?

There is black residue all over the place

A black fiber trail is left behind after the pad disintegrates. The fibers that get picked up are more difficult to remove than the floors themselves.

I use them on a regular basis. As a janitorial service, I found them very good, and the price was reasonable.

Stripping pads measuring 20" were supposed to be included. Polish pads of 17" are being sent to me. Adding an edit This time, I reordered the products and got them right the first time. Amazon has been goofing up a lot lately apparently.
