Questions & Answers

Do any of you have these under your bed, and does your bed still move when you move it?

They go under a king-sized bed in my house. There is no action. They're fantastic! There are no nails or sticky glues allowed.

Is there any discoloration under the pad on the hardwood floor?

We looked underneath our couch, which is on a hardwood floor. There is no discoloration that I can see. Grips have only been in use for about three months. 4 months.

Is it possible to tailor them to your needs?

We used a very sharp box cutter to cut them. We needed some 4x4 and some 2x2, so we purchased the 4x4 and cut them down with a sharp cutter, which was not easy.

For my deck, I'll need some iron plant stand pads. Rust causes the stands to rust and stain the deck. Is it possible to use these on a wet pool deck?

Personally, I don't believe these are appropriate for use outside. However, before making a purchase, I would try to get a response from the retailer. They're perfect for use indoors.

The psychological trauma suffered by the dog was well worth it
5/5

Our 60-pound German shepherd backs up about 100 feet, revs up his engines, and charges the couch, leaping about 20 feet from his landing zone on the middle cushion and landing like a massive clod, head over paws, on the farthest arm, sending the couch skidding a good 10 feet toward the table, lamp, and Grandma's delicate china. Imagine our joy when we saw his expression after we placed these babies on the couch feet. STOPPED the couch from moving, obliterating his entire worldview and faith in humanity. He's still traumatized and will need a lot of therapy, but the rest of us are ecstatic.

On a wood floor, this is ideal for keeping your bed (or other furniture) in place
5/5

My wife and I have a queen-size bed and a fairly large bed frame in our bedroom, which has a wood floor. When we were doing our, our bed shifted a lot. uh . Exercises in the bedroom I'd tried grip mats, pads, and other similar items, but they all seemed to wear out and stop working after about a week. We've had these floor pads for two weeks and are trying for a second child. So they've been thoroughly tested, and our bed hasn't budged an inch. These things are great for keeping your furniture in place if it's prone to slipping around.

(However, Purple? Instead of hanging two framed movie posters on the wall, I ordered these to prop them against the wall and rest them on the floor
4/5

The issue was that I didn't want to take the chance of the frames, which are quite large, sliding and leaving marks on my wood floor and wall. (You have an idea, and you have to spend months figuring out how to execute it, plus you have to buy at least three things because no DIY specifically answers your questions. ) It took me a long time to think of using something like these non-traditional materials. dura-stick rubber grips (I used to spend hours wandering through craft store aisles looking for ideas - Display stands that are enormous? Rubber cement strips that can be removed? (It was driving my husband insane). br>br>As a result of this, the Dura- Grips firmly grasp the situation. The gold-colored side, on the other hand, should be placed on the bottom. That is the color I chose because it would match the color of my floor perfectly. The material is similar to textured industrial carpet, which I hope will work well, and not interact in some terrible chemical way, with a bamboo floor in a southern, 99% humidity all Purple heavily padded wool is used for the face up. br>br>Purple was not something I had in mind. Purple? Are you serious? Purple has a lot of versatility. Is there anyone with a purple floor in their house? What gives it its purple hue? So far, I've pushed the dura- grip, as well as that ominous purple, which is visible well below the frames - so that those who are envious of my brilliant decorating scheme are unable to see how I pull it off I'm currently in love with it (along with my idea) now that it's finished. br>br>You can also cut the Dura-Flex with super-strong cutters. Grip to your exact specifications (if purple isn't an option for you). But I'm going to have to rethink how I'm going to manage a full-size floating mirror with these. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> So, I'd run into a new issue that Dura- Grips are no longer an issue. The hubs collapses onto the couch every night after a long day of trading. The sofa was slipping off the area rug like a train. It took me a half-dozen shoves the next morning to get the colossal couch back on the rug. After months of this pattern and marks on the floor (clearly, I'm not the sharpest tool), I realized I had two dura-cell batteries. Okay, maybe the grips from the frame display project will keep the 230 pounds of pressure from moving the couch. Yes, they are capable of doing so. The grips are completely hidden by the couch's feet, which grip like there's no tomorrow. Awesome. These things don't just grip; they also rock.

Amazing! Ok, WHAT! Why isn't this item given a higher rating? I'm still amazed at what happened when we installed those
5/5

My husband and I are both overweight, and we have two active children who enjoy jumping on the couch. Needless to say, the couch's feet are constantly scratching our floor. Guess what? That's not the case at all! DURA-, I thank you. GRIP I'm a believer, and I'm telling everyone about it!br>Please note that this review was written after almost a year of use!.

I was a skeptic at first, but now I'm convinced! I've never written an Amazon review before, but I decided to do so this time because I didn't trust the product's reviews before purchasing these
5/5

Except for placing a rug completely underneath our sectional, nothing has worked to keep it in place. We changed rugs, and the new cowhide rug didn't quite fit under all of the sectional's feet, so our couch shifted every time we sat down. I bought these on the spur of the moment because they had the best reviews, but I didn't expect them to work. I can now confidently state that they are extremely effective! They aren't appealing in the least. They're thick and stick out past the couch legs, but they've kept our couch from moving on our hardwood floors at all. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and I'll order more the next time we have this problem! Anyone who is frustrated with trying to keep furniture in place in order to protect their floors should give this a try.

The sofas are securely fastened
5/5

These were purchased for a reclining sofa and "captains chair" in the basement, both of which are situated on hard vinyl flooring. The kids appeared to slam the sofa and chair against the wall at least five times a day as they entered and exited them. When I put these under the feet, it completely stopped. As others have stated, these are large and thick (I probably should have gotten smaller ones). Consider a chewing gum pack. It's likely that the light color is the only drawback. Under a dark couch or chair, it really pops. I used a Sharpie to reduce the contrast in mine, and it worked. However, they excel at their primary function, which is to secure your furniture so that it does not slide.
