Are the diamond tornado pads 17" wide big enough to fit the tornado 97562b floor machine? I have no idea if "tornado" is just a product name or if it is a manufacturer. ?

Just as any white, red, or black pad would attach to a 17" pad driver, these pads will as well. You can see if it fits the driver of that machine. To locate the driver, you'd need to look it up online. It is not a machine we are associated with

Can you tell me the speed at which you should run this pad?

They normally use 400 grit pads with water on a machine that runs at a slower speed. There are many low speed floor machines that run at 175 revolutions per minute.

The grit numbers are confusing, can you explain them? Are you having trouble remembering if the low number is the softest or the ?

Having a low number is the most problematic.

As far as I can tell, they are identical to $8 regular ones. You can buy polishing pads starting at $0. 00. I did not find these to be especially efficient for polishing concrete and they did not work as well as expected.
