The best way I use them (and I now have four of them) is to use them to scoop leaves. The easiest way to move a pile of leaves is to grab a bucket or a barrel with a pair of scoopers in each hand and then grab as much as possible with them together. Like me, if you compost your leaves, you want a quick way to pick them up and transfer them to whatever you are using to haul them to the compost The method of using two dustpans (tongs, forceps) as grabbers is quick and easy, I don't care if you shred the leaves first (you can easily do this with a lawnmower) or use the leaves whole for leaf mold. My first dustpan was so good that I bought another one to make a pair - I've enjoyed them so much that I have a pair today - I will then make a pair for my grandson so we can finish up the leaf job in no time. The only thing that I dislike about your dustpan is one very annoying thing. It is not possible to remove the label from the dust surface, so now the dustpan I have has part of a label collected on it, and it looks disgusting. Could a removable sticker be applied to the dust pan easily?.

There are a few minor points in other reviews about the sticker that does the honours in middle of otherwise semi-polished surface It is hard to take the attractive dustpan away because it is ugly, annoying, and hard to clean. With my fingernail, I first peeled some of the mylar layer from the top of the sticker. A rag soaked in paint thinner was then placed over the sticker, and a brick was used to weight it down. Over the course of eight days, I resoaked the rag four times a day. A few minutes later, the sicker peeled.

We would like to have seen a rubber edge on the front of this product. Despite having rubber on the top, the edge is too sharp and cuts the crap out of flooring and your hand. I wonder if there is a rubber ridge just below the edge as it isn't present on the bottom. There is a lot of space, it's very light weight and it has a great design with This will be used if we get an ice storm. I'm going to look for another product that won't slice our fingers.
