The single piece steel construction is sufficiently robust for use in the shop. It has no chinsy welds that are prone to breaking or riveted handles that become loose. It is not plastic or flimsy aluminum that bends when you look at it, nor is it hard plastic that cracks when you drop it. I'd estimate it to be worth $6 and They are made in USA if it says that on the packaging.
Will last a lifetime.
If it doesn't say "MADE IN USA," it's not. That is a promotion that companies will make. This means that if the manufacturer only used three letters of our alphabet, it means they used three letters of our alphabet.
It is sturdy metal, and unlike some reviews that said they didn't get one with the USA letters, this one actually came with the letters. Due to the thickness of the metal, however, it does not give at all, and dirt will just fall under the surface unless the floor is perfectly flat. Because I find it so annoying, I think I'll return it, which is a shame, since the product is so good. It may be better to put it outside, where there is less chance that it will all get.
The dust pan is a very sturdy one that will not However, I'm not thrilled with what's happening, per se. This product does not collect fine debris and the lip is too large, so it does not stay snugly in place. A mother of children must consider the fact that the account holds only a small amount of money. It is indeed true. Please be aware. utmost reluctance, resenting them inwardly, and questioning what my husband was thinking when he ordered TWO of them. Oh yes, they are very He was thinking that when he said that. Where were they when I missed the deadline? What happened? He was important to me and I didn't want The sad fate of myself and the children is sealed by the fact that he rarely uses them, which means the dust pans will never break, and thus will never fade away from our possession with any family.
could not find a replacement at the store, so I have been using the cheap plastic with the "rubber" edge that does not remain flat when dirt is swept up on Because there is no metal strip on the bottom, the catcher stays flat on the floor catching everything Using this type of rag is heavier than using plastic rags, but I prefer it because I don't get as frustrated trying to get all the dirt out. appreciate that it is made in the USA and says so right on the pan.
There are no 7 ridges on the dust pan as depicted in the picture. A black metal ring with a nickel sized dimple is the best fit for me. In my opinion, it will do the job well and it was a very affordable price. I received my order free of charge and it arrived quickly, but the packaging was a plastic envelope that offered no A few paint scrapes were present on the merchandise when it arrived.
looked online to see if I could find a dust pan that didn't break and would be up to the job. My fingers were tingling when I saw it because it reminded me of dustpans I used to use in wood shop when I was a kid. Upon receiving this pan, I am delighted to say that for most of my life, this will be the last dust pan I need That's how good and durable it is! Please accept my sincere thanks!.
The wooden ones needed to be metal so I could use them with the Nothing wrong with the product, but Amazon fulfillment seems to continue to decline in quality of packaging These had been packed with the same material, but if it had been handled with a little more care, none of them would have come to grief. We are looking forward to Amazon Droids that perform better.
With a small modification, I guarantee that it will last a lifetime. To prolong the handle, I used a propane torch to heat up the handle right underneath so that I could bend the handle straight back up so that I could screw on a wooden broom handle. Rather than bending over to hold the dustpan I just put the dustpan on the ground and sweep up the dirt, dust, paper, anything I don't want to pick up by hand. It says USA right on the metal and it took awhile to heat up to bend the metal. Considering the durability of this Dust Pan, I could use it for generations to come.
