Adheres to the floor, but does not stay adhered to it

I expected the product to work well, but unfortunately it pulls away from the ground. In spite of one's attempts to step off of it, the pad pulls from the floor and stays attached to one's Don't buy this product if you can help it!.

bought it for my carpet so I can keep it clean, as well as to collect debris from there. It seems to me that as much Covid as possible should be left.
