It is only used in the house for the purpose of keeping my Mom from sliding down the wheelchair I don't know how the temperature has changed. As long as I wipe the seat with hot or cold water, the product won't be affected. I haven't used it on the car seat yet because my mom hasn't been in the car since July 28, 2020.

I can open hard to open jam jars with it, and it keeps furniture firmly in place as well. It holds my pivot disk in place, and it makes opening jars easier.

I've never seen a material that grips like that! The purpose of this gripper was to help my wife recover from a hand injury by enabling her to grasp things, twist off medicine bottle caps or open jars in the kitchen when she wasn't able to easily

You can easily open jars and bottles

As a result of my arthritic hands, I find it difficult to open bottles and jars. I place a piece of Dycem on the counter to ease my pain. With a flat, open hand in my left hand, I can open the jar easily with this method. I place the jar on it as well as put another piece on the lid.
