I bought a similar mat several months ago, but that one said the seller was "Andersen" and some other English words, but the mat was the same M+A Matting is the name of the company. I was very pleased with the packaging on this latest purchase Slice open the cardboard box, remove the tape, and pull out the contents. There is no plastic or paper to cover the mat, just the folded one. In my living room I use these mats since my carpet is old. Being able to vacuum over them without catching the edges is convenient to me. We have a wooden door that opens out to the patio the door slides right over the mat without even Secondly we place the mat at the edge of the carpet into the kitchen because that's where the carpet shows wear most of the time. This mat has been in place for a week and has not been a trip hazard. The material and design are both very attractive, so it does not look like a classic front door mat, but rather There's no need for me to go into the detail regarding the sturdy fabric, suffice it to say that I totally agree with all of the other praise I've seen. As such, I may scrape up the funds to buy a bigger (square) WaterHog mat for the front door where I currently have a mat that works wonderfully to capture dirt but that is VERY difficult to vacuum! When I vacuum my other mat, that's what causes problems, and I have a few splits in it as a result of my battles with the vacuum.
