The gas line and carburetor were the only places where it was found. I narrowed it down and convinced myself that it was, despite the fact that I didn't want it to be and couldn't believe it could be. I'm trying to find out if this has happened to anyone else. br>br>Update: it ruined two carburetors as well.
In my shop, I sometimes work on small engines. Over an 8-hour period, I used this 25' roll. 9 months. Several customers informed me that their gasoline had turned brown or orange. I put this line to the test in a cup of gas. The fuel began to discolor in a matter of days. It didn't appear to be causing any other problems, but I was concerned that it might become a problem. I switched to a different brand that doesn't appear to stain the fuel. Since switching brands, I haven't received any feedback from customers. br>br>I would not buy this product again. GG - I recommend that you buy a different brand. br>br> arbez.
The carb on the Outboard had been causing problems, and now I know why. I was letting fuel out of the line just before it met the carburetor while replacing the fuel. The fuel had black chunks in it, which I noticed. br>The only reason I'm writing this review is that I had to double-check whether or not I had purchased fuel line. This line is clearly labeled as a fuel line. br>DO NOT use this line to fuel a carburetor. It'll clog up the system.
(As I can see in my fuel filter, which is clear)br> I couldn't figure out what was going on for the longest time. But, 100% no doubt about it,
no doubt about it,
no doubt about it,% It's the fuel line!br>br>As a result, I've used up all of the fuel line on my equipment. Carburetors are being destroyed by my customer's equipment, so it will need to be replaced. It's just a waste of fuel!
. br>It's a pity because the fuel line appears to be poorly constructed. APART FROM WHATEVER IS TURNING THE FUEL RED/ORANGE, THE QUALITY IS GOOD.
It appears to be of good quality, but flush it out before connecting it to your motor. On one run, I used about 20 feet of it and connected it to a see-through filter before connecting it to the motor. The filter had never been used before. When I primed the line, I noticed that the filter had a lot of small black flecks in it. It appeared to be rubber flakes. I disconnected the line from the filter, primed it, and then reconnected it to a new filter. Now everything appears to be in order. The gas tank was clean, and this was the only gas line connecting it to the filter.
by the foot. This is a must-have for anyone who works with small engines, tractors, or automobiles. I'm not sure how much I paid, but it was a lot cheaper than buying it by the foot, plus it saved me the trouble of having to run into town every time I needed something. I expect my fuel systems to last a very long time given that I don't run any of my small equipment with 100% gasoline. Especially if it's only going to be used for a short period of time. As a result, it received a four-star rating. It's been four years since I've checked in to see how things are going. Buy it.
I immediately assumed that this hose was of poor quality. br>Now I notice my fuel in the filter is turning dark, and the hose is already spongy. br>September 3rd was the last day to return items.
PRO1 was written on a small piece of paper that appeared to have been printed on an inkjet printer and then taped (yes, taped) to the roll. This was purchased in 2018 (three years ago) and has given me a lot of grief. It turns the gas orange, but the inner layer partially liquefies and clogs the line, clogging the fuel lines and gumming up the carburetors. This is not a good fuel line, and according to my order, it was purchased from Yaciw, whatever that means. It appears to be a low-cost knockoff being passed off as the genuine article. I threw out the remaining half of it. B is for ordered. Fuel line with the letter S. Seller: B& It doesn't cost much more, and it does matter who the Amazon seller is.
