Genuine MAGLite mounting brackets, made in the United States, arrived in their original, unopened packaging. The mounting brackets are sturdy and simple to install. The flashlight is held in place securely but is still easily removed. I always know where I put the flashlight (even when it's dark and I need it!). This necessitates the use of mounting brackets. br>br>This is just a suggestion. The flashlight is shown on the packaging mounted in the brackets with the beam end facing up, but I recommend that you put the battery endcap up instead. Just in case of leaking batteries, the screwdriver comes in handy. Acid will not drip if the endcap is facing up, and the chances of the screw cap threads locking up are reduced. In addition, I find that installing and removing the flashlight with the beam end facing down is easier.
I needed a flashlight near the back door because the yard was dark. The dog on the end of his leash "vanished. " The bracket allowed us to place the flashlight exactly where we needed it. We always have a good idea of where it is. Because it isn't very flexible, we remove it by sliding it up rather than pulling it forward, so I expect it to last a long time.
With a few self-tapping screws on the seat of my Jeep JK, it works perfectly. This makes my mag light extremely handy and accessible.
There's not much to say about these except that they're simple to install and secure my Maglite behind my truck's seat.
It safely secures my Mag lite.
Clips a AA mag light to the dash of my Jeep Wrangler for a quick light when needed, and securely holds the light.
Good.
Install your mag lights in strategic locations to ensure quick access in the event of a power outage.
