It does what it's supposed to do, but it's way too expensive

The product does what it's supposed to do, but it's way too expensive. Following my purchase here, I discovered a comparable item at HD for a quarter of the price. So, don't make the same mistake I did and check your local hardware store before you buy.

I needed a couple of these to cover an old phone jack that didn't have a junction box with a plate. It was an excellent solution. Someone said they were cheaper in the store, but I looked all over Lowe's and couldn't find any.

Bracker for mounting Leviton wall plates

This bracket makes mounting a wallplate on a sheetrock wall quick and easy. Cut a hole in the sheetrock that is the same size as the opening in the bracket, then bend the two metal tabs over it. After that, secure the plate to the bracket with screws. Not for use with electricity, but ideal for A/V and network plates.
