A wire clip is included in every set/battery from Hotronic Systems, allowing the battery to be hung from the boot shell or just about anywhere else. There are a variety of other options, such as these mounting brackets designed specifically for ski boots. Because the Hotronic customs systems are designed to work with virtually any type of footwear, including them in the package would guarantee that a portion of the package would be thrown away. Slide strap brackets, which attach to your ski/snowboard boots' power strap, are another option. Also, some people prefer to use extension cords (available in 80 and 120 cm lengths) and hang the batteries on their belt, so omitting the ski boot mounting bracket makes perfect sense and allows Hotronic and its authorized retailers to offer the best price possible.
Yes, the S4 battery pack is compatible with the bracket.

I took great pains to make sure it was installed properly. The plastic shatter into a million pieces the first time I mounted the battery to the clip and rotated it 90 degrees to lock it in place, as the instructions stated. The other one is still connected and appears to be secure, though I'm not sure I can rely on it while skiing. br>br>The seller is only going to refund my money, not replace it. Too bad. In my boots, there are now two holes. This piece should be made of metal, according to Hotronic.
When I'm stupid enough to ski in sub-zero temperatures, my feet are now toasty. This is fantastic. There are a lot of options for controlling how hot they get. I paid for their installation. I figured it was better to pay than to ruin my ski boots by fouling it up. I have Tecnica boots that clip right on to the bootstrap and don't require any hardware. The battery must be recharged after each use, but that isn't a big deal. They didn't make a difference in the fit of my boot for me, but I've heard that they did for others. It can also be difficult to get the gaiter and pants over your ski pants if the leg is narrow. However, I would prefer to have warm feet.
It's not difficult to install. Drilling in the back of your boot requires a certain amount of bravery. This is an upgrade if you're tired of your boot strap flopping due to the battery's weight. I prefer the battery to be located on the back of the device rather than on the side.
However, while it is simple to set up, it is not without its drawbacks. On Mammoth Mountain, there is a battery. Yep. I usually use power strap clips, but these boots didn't come with any, so I tried these and said goodbye. You're going to say when they're on. hmm. I'm curious if the battery can loosen up. Yes, it is possible.
These things are a lot more effective than I anticipated.
My snowboard boots needed to be fitted with Hotronic boot heaters. br>Every piece of required hardware (washers, bolts, etc. ) 2 lengths are included, as well as nuts. br>With only a few tools and some DIY know-how, you can complete the project in under 15 minutes.
Installation should be done by watching the YouTube video. The battery pack is a little on the large side, but not too much so. It's amazing how well heat works.
They're fine, but I think clipping the heater units to your boot strap would be a better option.
