The setup is a little hazy. It's a one-way check valve that prevents higher-pressure fluid from entering a lower-pressure line when installed correctly.
The flow direction is indicated by an arrow stamped on the part. It switches from mpt to fpt mode.
The valve must be opened with 1/2 pound of pressure.
There is no such thing as a non-profit organization. end with a thread A male thread is on one end, and a female thread is on the other.

The quality appears to be satisfactory: machine work that is nicely finished and the threads are properly cut. But I was surprised to see a warning that a "lead free" water part could contain lead on the listing. It didn't bother me because I wasn't going to drink from it. If you're not, I recommend skipping this section.
Using a hot water heater, circlating pump, and fan-forced circulation, this check valve was used to prevent backflow into the domestic cold water supply. unit with coils Threads are correctly cut and sealed to prevent leakage.
I was able to reduce the incoming supply line to a mini hot water tank as a result of this. In addition, there's a low-pressure check valve.
Because the internal components are plastic, they are not suitable for long-term RV/Camper use. Long-term use in an RV or camper is not recommended.
The spring keeps it from jiggling open, and it's well-made.
